Update (5:24 PM) - Hi Everyone! Just about to head out for the night so I'm updating my lineup as of right now. I still like the PHI stack however, as the lineup is not released as of yet, I'm putting together more of a rounded lineup with for the most part confirmed starters. I really like LAD tonight agianst Chase Anderson and think their is some solid value with Peraza & Suarez. Image is updated. Good Luck!
Hope everyone is enjoying their starts to their weekend!
We had a solid performance last night as we ended up cashing in both our GPP’s & 50/50’s with our 167.7-point performance.
Let’s take a look at our “initial” lineup for tonight’s 7:10 FanDuel Main Slate which features 5 games.
On the mound, we have some solid top-tier options with Gerrit Cole & Luis Castillo, however, I just can’t pass up the value on Aaron Nola. Nola has struggled this season coming into this game with a just a 7.45 ERA and 1.66 WHIP and is pitching tonight at Coors Field, however, we all know the upside that Nola brings to mound especially after coming off a season in which he posted a 2.37 ERA and had a solid K/9 ratio of 9.49. Nola’s only outing at Coors was a successful one in 2017 as he went 7.0 innings, giving up just 2 ER’s while striking out 7 and as I’m not overly impressed with what I’ve seen from Colorado offensively to start the season, I think Nola is worth the shot tonight.
We’re staying with Philadelphia when it comes to our offense as their should be plenty of opportunity with some value as Jean Segura, Scott Kingery, and Andrew McCutchen are all listed as day-to-day and I’m expecting that at least 2 of them will be out tonight.
For the Phillies we’re going to currently stack Phil Gosselin, Maikel Franco, Bryce Harper, and Nick Williams in their matchup agianst Antonio Senzatela who although looked good in his only start of the season agianst San Diego however, he comes into this game with career ERA of 5.04 at Coors.
I’m have a stack of Andrelton Simmons & Mike Trout agianst the LHP Yusei Kikuchi of the Seattle Mariners. Kikuchi hasn’t been anything overwhelming in his first season in the majors and as doesn’t have a fastball that can blow you away, I like both the RHP Simmons & Trout tonight.
Jesus Aguilar has not had the start of the season he was hoping for, however, he does faces a LHP in Hyun-Jin Ryu tonight and I think he is a value as he has huge HR upside and posted a .282 average & .929 OPS vs. LHP last season.
Rounding out the team as of right now is the LHB of Alex Verdugo of the Los Angeles Dodgers who comes into this game with a .362 average with 3 HR’s & 13 RBI’s. Verdugo has a .918 OPS vs. RHP on the season and has a nice match-up against Chase Anderson in which he has a HR in his only AB against him in his career.
As always, I will make any necessary updates due to confirmed lineups, weather, etc. I will do my best to update the post but if it’s a last-second update, it’s easier for me to post that with an image on Twitter (@BrettCU05).
