DFS - Fantasy Baseball - MLB Fanduel Lineup - Main Slate (1:05 PM) - 6/30/19
Sunday, June 30, 2019 at 12:05 PM (N/A)
Let’s end the weekend on a strong note as we take a look at this afternoon’s MLB FanDuel “Main Slate” that starts at 1:05pm and features 9 games.
On the mound, we have a ton of great options today, however, I’m going with a somewhat value pick in Tampa Bay’s Blake Snell. Snell has struggled a bit as of late, however, he is still one of the most dominant pitchers in MLB and it’s hard to not to roll with him with his current price tag sits in the mid-$8,000 range. Snell still is striking out people at an outstanding rate as he comes into this game with a 11.96 K/9 rate and as we saw yesterday with another Tampa LHP in Brendan McKay, the Rangers struggle agianst LHP’s as they currently rank just 27th in MLB in team batting average vs. LHP (.234) and 30th in team strikeout rate (9.77 K/game).
Cleveland has been embarrassed by one of the worst teams in the league in Baltimore the last two games (back-to-back 13-0 losses) and I think the Indians finally snap out of their offense struggles agianst the RHP Gabriel Ynoa today. Ynoa has really struggled this season for the Orioles as he comes into this game with a 6.75 ERA & 1.54 WHIP and has been giving up HR’s in bunches as of late as he has allowed 8 HR’s in his last 4 starts.
For the Indians, we’re going with Jose Ramirez, Francisco Lindor, Jake Bauers, & Bobby Bradley.
Cincinnati’s Anthony DeSclafani has historically struggled vs. LHB’s and after coming off a tough game against Milwaukee, I like the Cubs LHB’s at home with the wind blowing out this afternoon.
We’re going to pay up for both Anthony Rizzo & Kyle Schwarber who both have HR’s off DeSclafani in their careers.
Eloy Jimenez has some of the best pure power in the game and is starting to figure things out at the MLB level as in the month of June he is hitting .298 with 8 HR’s. Jimenez will be up against Lewis Thorpe who will be making his first start of the season after posting a 5.71 ERA in Triple-A this season.
Rounding out the team we’re going with Cavan Biggio who has been on a tear as of late, hitting .318 with a HR over the past week. Biggio has a .970 OPS vs. RHP and has a decent match-up against the RHP Brad Keller of the Kansas City Royals who hadn’t made it past the 4th inning in his last two starts.
Thanks for following as always and don't forget to follow me on Twitter (@BrettCU05) as that is where I can't post list minute changes if needed!
Good Luck tonight!
