DFS - Fantasy Baseball - MLB Fanduel Lineup - Main Slate (1:07 PM) - 7/7/19

Update (12:56 pm) - Decided to put Sogard in for Frazier at 2B as I'm a bit worried that MIL/PIT won't get the full game in as it looks like some good storms will hit Pittsburgh later in that game. Image is updated! Good Luck!
Hope everyone is enjoying their Sunday!
Let’s end the 1st half of the season with a win as we take a look at today’s MLB FanDuel “Main Slate” that features 11 games and starts at 1:07pm.
We’re going with some value on the mound this afternoon as we’re going with some value with Tyler Mahle in his match-up agianst the Cleveland Indians. Mahle certainly has some risk with him, however, he has been solid this season and has actually been incredible at home posting a 3.24 ERA while holding opponents to just a .185 average. Mahle has a solid 9.34 K/9 ratio and although Cleveland certainly has the ability to do some damage, the Indians offense has shown the ability to really struggle this season and I think they could have a tough time against Mahle this afternoon.
I wanted to go with extreme value at pitcher so I could once again load up on the Boston Red Sox as they have another outstanding matchup in Detroit’s LHP, Gregory Soto. Soto hasn’t fared well in his limited appearances this season (22.1 IP) as the left-hander comes into this game with an 8.06 ERA & 1.88 WHIP while allowing opponents to post a .319 average/.949 OPS against him.
The Red Sox’s offense has been on fire as of late as they are averaging 8 runs per game over their last 10 games and I’m loading up on the bats of Christian Vazquez, Xander Bogaerts, J.D. Martinez, & Mookie Betts as Soto is allowing RHB’s to post a .329 average & 1.022 OPS agianst him on the season.
I want to get some action on the Cubs as they have a nice match-up against Ian Nova who comes into this game with a 5.92 ERA & 1.56 WHIP. Nova has allowed 6 HR’s over his last 4 starts and has allowed LHB’s to post a .330 average & .930 OPS against him on the season.
For the Cubs, we’re going to go with a couple of LHB’s in Jason Heyward & Kyle Schwarber.
Adam Frazier has been on an absolute tear as of late as over the past week, he is hitting an incredible .536 (15 for 28). Frazier doesn’t have huge HR upside, however, I like the fact that he is hitting .340 at home and is up agianst Chase Anderson who he does have two career HR’s against him.
Rounding out the team will be a value pick in Matt Thaiss of the Angels in his match-up agianst Jose Urquidy of the Astros. Thaiss showed some decent power down at Triple-A Salt Lake City this season and was swinging a hot bat in June prior to his call-up as he had 8 HR’s in 27 games.
Thanks for following as always and don't forget to follow me on Twitter (@BrettCU05) as that is where I can't post list minute changes if needed!
Good Luck this afternoon!
