DFS - Fantasy Baseball - MLB FanDuel Lineup "Early Only" - 6/15/19

Hi Everyone!

Happy Saturday! Hope everyone is having a great start to their weekends!

We have a 4-game MLB FanDuel “Early Only” Slate that starts at 4:05pm and let’s take a look at our lineup!

On the mound, we’re paying up for Chris Sale who has been lights out as of late in a great match-up agianst Baltimore. Sale was outstanding earlier this season in a road match-up agianst the Orioles as he went 8.0 innings, giving up just 1 ER on 3 hits while striking out 14. Sale has double-digit K’s in 7 of his last 8 games and has an incredible 12.81 K/9 ratio on the season.

On the offensive end, I’m going with a 4-man Red Sox stack on the offensive end in Michael Chavis, Brock Holt, J.D. Martinez, & Jackie Bradley Jr. The Red Sox have been launching HR’s as of late (11 over the last 2 games) and with the wind blowing out at Camden Yards this afternoon, they will have a good chance to keep the HR’s coming agianst Baltimore’s Dylan Bundy who has a 1.93 HR/9 ratio.

We have a 2-man stack of Astros in Yuli Gurriel & Tyler White in their match-up agianst the LHP Clayton Richard of the Blue Jays. Richard has really struggled in his 4 starts this season as he comes into this game with a 7.04 ERA & 1.76 WHIP and has yet to make it past the 5th inning in any of his 4 starts. Richard has a 1.76 HR/9 ratio and is allowing opponents to post a .897 OPS agianst him on the season.

We’re getting some solid value with Lourdes Gurriel Jr. of the Blue Jays who comes into this game hitting .375 (9 for 24) with 2 HR’s over the past week. Valdez has been solid in his 33.0 IP this season, however, Gurriel has been solid agianst LHP this season, posting a .894 OPS.

Rounding out the team, we needed to go with a “punt” play at SS and will take a chance with Nick Ahmed of the Diamondbacks. Ahmed has enough power to get us a HR if he gets a hold of a fastball and although he has a tough match-up against Steven Strasburg, he is 3-8 agianst Strasburg in his career.

As always, I will make any necessary updates due to confirmed lineups, weather, etc. I will do my best to update the post but if it’s a last-second update, it’s easier for me to post that with an image on Twitter (@BrettCU05).

I will also try to get a “Main Slate” lineup out for tonight, however, it will most likely be an image only!

Good Luck!
