Hi Everyone!

Hope everyone is having a good Wednesday!

Let’s take a look at tonight’s initial lineup for the MLB FanDuel “Main Slate” that features 5 games and starts a bit earlier than normal at 6:40pm.

On the mound tonight, we’re going to be going with Arizona’s Zac Gallen who will be making his first start for the Arizona Diamondbacks after being traded at the deadline by the Miami Marlins. Gallen was impressive in his first 7 starts this season, posting a 2.72 ERA & 1.18 WHIP while posting an impressive 10.65 K/9 ratio. Gallen has been lights out over his last two starts (14.0 IP, 2 ER, 17 K) and although Philadelphia has an offense that certainly can put up some runs, they do come into this game ranked just 20th in batting average vs. RHP (.245 average) & 16th in team strikeout rate (8.78 K/game).

On the offensive side of things tonight, I’m going with two 4-man stacks of Boston Red Sox & San Diego Padres.

Our 4-man Boston stack is more of a value stack as they have a great match-up agianst Glenn Sparkman of the Kansas City Royals. Sparkman comes into this game with a 5.58 ERA & 1.44 WHIP and has really struggled as of late, allowing 18 ER’s over his last three starts. Sparkman is allowing both LHB’s & RHB’s to hit over .280 against him on the season, while LHB’s have shown some solid power agianst the RHP as they’ve posted a .926 OPS against Sparkman.

For the Red Sox, we’re going to go with Mitch Moreland, Brock Holt, Jackie Bradley Jr. & Mookie Betts.

We spend up for our 4-man San Diego stack as we think they have arguably the best match-up of the night agianst the LHP Yusel Kikuchi of the Seattle Mariners. Kikuchi comes into this game with just a 5.49 ERA & 1.48 WHIP while allowing at least 6 ER’s in two of his last three starts. Kikuchi has allowed 8 HR’s over his last three starts and is allowing opponents to post a .289 average & .879 OPS against him on the season.

For the Padres, we are going with Manny Machado, Fernando Tatis Jr., Hunter Renfroe, & Wil Myers.

Good Luck!
