Update (is 6:02pm) - Just made some more updates. Decided to get away from OAK as I wanted more exposure to LAA & MIL. We still have a 3-man stack of NYY but also have Grandal, Yelich, Trout & Ohtani! Image is updated. Good Luck!
Update (5:09 pm) - Hi everyone! Keeping with the same lineup for the most part. I've decided to switch Michael Brantley for Shohei Ohtani as I just like how Ohtani has more HR-upside and is also in a solid match-up against the RHP Mike Leake in which he is 5 for 12 (.417 average) with a HR against. Ohtani has also been outstanding during "night" games this season, posting a .353 average & 1.075 OPS. Image is updated. Good Luck!
Hope everyone has had a nice week and enjoyed the All-Star game. What a HR derby!!!!
I decided to take time off this week after not taking any time off around the 4th of July so I'm keeping these short. Also, as I'm going to be out and about this weekend, I will do my best to update the teams as we usually do about an hour before first-pitch, however, there is a chance I won't be able to update the team here. I'll do my best to make any updates on Twitter (@BrettCU05).
On the mound, I just can't pass up on the value of Dinelson Lamet of the San Diego Padres. Lamet will still have a pitch-count after just coming back Tommy John Surgery, however, he some great K-upside and looked solid against a very good hitting LAD team in his only start prior to the All-Star break. Lamet is extremely underpriced on FanDuel and although he probably will at most go 5-6 innings, their is just too much value to not go with Lamet tonight.
With the salary saved with going with Lamet, we're going to be able to go with some solid NYY & OAK stacks.
The Yankees have a great match-up against Aaron Sanchez of the Blue Jays and we have a 4-man stack with Gleyber Torres, Didi Gregorius, Aaron Hicks, & DJ LeMahieu.
For Oakland, they have a nice match-up against Ian Nova who has been hit hard from both sides of the plate this season and we're going with a 3-man A's stack of Matt Olson, Matt Chapman, & Khris Davis.
Rounding out our team with Michael Brantley of the Astros in his match-up against Jesse Chavez of the Rangers. Chavez has pitched well this season for the Rangers, however, Brantley is hitting .323 vs. RHP this season and is 4 for 12 with 3 HR's vs. Chavez in his career.
Good Luck everyone!
