Update (5:24 PM) - Hi Everyone! Had to make some updates as Alvarez isn't getting the start tonight. Decided to put in JD Martinez in the OF and went with Scooter Gennett who has that nice match-up against Chase Anderson. Image is updated. Good Luck!

Hi Everyone!

Happy Tuesday!

Let’s take a look at tonight’s 15-game MLB FanDuel “Main Slate” that starts at 7:05pm.

On the mound, there are a lot of solid high-tier options tonight, however, I’m going to take a risk and go with a value pick in Reynaldo Lopez of the White Sox in his match-up agianst the Detroit Tigers. Lopez hasn’t been great this season as he comes into this game with just a 6.12 ERA & 1.58 WHIP, however, Lopez has shown some flashes of brilliance this season and has some k-upside as he has an 8.06 K/9 ratio. I’m going with Lopez tonight largely on the match-up as the Tigers currently rank Tigers come into this game ranked 29th in team batting average (.227 average) vs. RHP & 29th in team strikeout rate (9.81 K/game) while Lopez has been solid in both starts vs. DET this season, including a dominant performance in which he went 6.0 IP, giving up 0 ER’s while striking out 14.

With the money we’re saving at the pitching position, we can spend up on some big bats which we’ll start off with a 2-man stack of Dodgers in Max Muncy & Cody Bellinger. Muncy & Bellinger have some major HR-upside as they’ve combined for 47 HR’s this season and you have to like their match-up at home agianst Taylor Clarke who is allowing LHB’s to post a .289 average, .614 slugging percentage, & .998 OPS.

We have a 2-man stack of the Tampa Bay Rays in Ji-Man Choi & Tommy Pham vs. Baltimore’s RHP Asher Wojciechowski who has a career 6.64 ERA in 78.2 IP in the majors. Wojciechowski is a fly-ball pitcher who has had trouble keeping the ball in the ballpark this season in the minors as in Triple-A, he has allowed 19 HR’s in just 84.2 IP (2.0 HR/9 ratio).

I think Ji-Man Choi has some great value tonight hitting out of the clean-up spot and has fared well vs. RHP this season, posting a .280 average & .827 OPS (8 HR’s).

Tommy Pham has struggled a bit as of late, however, he has solid HR-upside and has crushed Baltimore this season to the tune of a .350 average. Pham actually has some experience agianst Wojciechowski as he is 2 for 5 with a double agianst the RHP.

We have a 2-man stack of St. Louis Cardinals in Paul Goldschmidt & Paul DeJong in their match-up agianst the RHP Matt Carasiti of the Seattle Mariners. Carasiti will probably see limited time as he has only pitched 3.0 IP this season, but I think Goldschmidt & DeJong can jump all over the righty as he comes into this game with a career 7.71 ERA & 1.33 WHIP.

Eugenio Suarez is hitting .381 with 3 HR’s over the past week and is on a tear as of late as over his last three games he is 7 for 12 with 3 HR’s & 7 RBI’s. Suarez has a good chance of going for another HR tonight as he is up agianst Milwaukee Chase Anderson who can give up plenty of HR’s (1.42 HR/9 ratio). Suarez is hitting just .158 against Anderson in his career, however, he does have 2 HR’s against him.

Rounding out the team, we’re paying up for the young slugging power hitter of the Astros in Yordan Alvarez in his first trip to Coors Field. Alvarez has been outstanding since being called up as he is hitting .317 with 7 HR’s and has posted a 1.062 OPS vs. RHP on the season.

Thanks for following as always and don't forget to follow me on Twitter (@BrettCU05) as that is where I can't post list minute changes if needed!

Good Luck tonight!
