DFS - Fantasy Baseball - MLB Fanduel Lineup - Main Slate (7:05 PM) - 7/31/19

Jason Getz-USA TODAY Sports

Hi Everyone!

Hope everyone is having a great Wednesday.

Let’s take a look at our initial lineup tonight’s MLB FanDuel “Main Slate” that starts at 7:05pm and features 8 games.

We’re paying a premium price on the mound tonight as we’re going to go with the Mets Jason deGrom in his prime match-up against the Chicago White Sox.  deGrom has been lights out again this season, posting a 2.86 ERA & 1.09 WHIP and has been on fire as of late as over his last three games, he has given up just 1 ER while striking 25 in 19.0 IP. deGrom is holding opponents to just a .225 average and an impressive 11.37 K/9 ratio. The match-up couldn’t get much better for deGrom tonight as he faces a White Sox team that is hitting just .213 over the past week and ranks just 25th in team strikeout rate at 9.50 K/game.

On the offensive end, we’re going to keep it simple tonight and focus completely on the Tampa Bay/Boston game as we have 4-man stacks of each team in which I’m seeing as an absolute slugfest tonight at Fenway Park.

On the mound for Tampa Bay tonight will be the RHP Andrew Kittredge. Kittredge has been decent out of the bullpen this season, however, hasn’t been overly impressive in his career as he has posted a career 5.21 ERA & 1.57 WHIP over 74.1 IP. Kittredge allowed 5 Hits in just 3.0 IP of work in his last outing vs. the Blue Jays this past Saturday and I expect him to be hit hard tonight.

For the Red Sox, we’re going to be stacking Sam Travis, Michael Chavis, Jackie Bradley Jr. & J.D. Martinez.

Rich Porcello has continued to struggle this season as he comes into this game with a 5.55 ERA & 1.45 WHIP while posting a 7.54 ERA over his 4 starts in July. Porcello is allowing his opponents to post a .283 average/.812 OPS on the season and hasn’t been great against the Rays this season as over his 2 starts (11.2 IP), he has allowed 6 ER’s & 14 hits.

For the Rays, we’re going with Matt Duffy, Willy Adames, Avisail Garcia, & Ji-Man Choi.
