Hi Everyone!

Happy Wednesday!

We couldn’t get in the cash this afternoon, however, we plan on getting back on track tonight as we take a look at tonight’s MLB FanDuel “Main Slate” that features 11 games and starts at 7:05pm.

There are a few weather concerns for tonight, but for the most part, the majority of the games I’m targeting look somewhat safe.

I’m going to be doing a straight GPP lineup tonight!

On the mound, we’re going with value in Milwaukee’s Adrian Houser in his match-up agianst the St. Louis Cardinals. Houser has found has grove as a starter and has been lights out in his last two starts vs. WSH & TEX (13.0 IP, 5 H, 2 ER, 14 K). Houser is holding opponents to a .249 average/.735 OPS and although he hasn’t fared well against St. Louis this season, I don’t mind taking a chance has I think he has solid upside against a Cardinals team that ranks just 21st in team batting average vs. RHP.

On the offensive end, we’re paying up for a monster 4-man stack of the Boston Red Sox in their match-up agianst the LHP Drew Smyly of the Philadelphia Phillies. Smyly had a couple nice starts when he first was acquired by the Phillies, however, he has started to look more like the pitcher that currently has a 7.09 ERA & 1.66 WHIP as over his last two starts he has given up 9 ER’s on 5 HR’s. Smyly is allowing opponents to post a .946 OPS agianst him on the season and actually has really struggled against LHB’s, allowing them to post a .338 average/.831 slugging %/1.228 OPS.

For the Red Sox, we’re going with Mookie Betts, J.D. Martinez, Jackie Bradley Jr., & Rafael Devers.

Staying in this match-up, we’re going with some solid value in the Phillies Logan Morrison in his match-up against the RHP Rick Porcello of the Red Sox. Porcello has pitched better as of late, but it’s been a tough season for the veteran as he comes into this game with a 5.49 ERA & 1.41 WHIP while sporting a 1.61 HR/9 ratio. Porcello hasn’t fared that well agianst LHB’s this season, allowing them to post a .285 average & .831 OPS.

Morrison has just returned to action and is only getting his 2nd start of the season tonight, however, he has solid HR-upside and is career .300 hitter (12 for 40) with 2 HR’s agianst Porcello.

We’re paying up for Houston’s Alex Bergman as I love his match-up agianst the LHP Daniel Norris of the Detroit Tigers. Norris has allowed 5 HR’s in his last 11.2 IP and is allowing RHB’s to post a .292 average/.835 OPS. Bergman has posted a .319 average/1.059 OPS vs. LHB’s this season and is 4 for 6 lifetime with two doubles vs. Norris in his career.

We’re rounding out team with a 2-man stack of Kansas City Royals in their match-up against the RHP Aaron Brooks of the Baltimore Orioles. Brooks comes into this game with a 6.49 ERA & 1.43 WHIP and has allowed 27 ER’s in his last 5 starts (22 IP). Brooks is allowing his opponents to post a .284 average/.903 OPS on the season and comes into this game with a 2.20 HR/9 ratio.

For the Royals we’re going with Whit Merrifield & Nicky Lopez.
