DFS - Fantasy Baseball - MLB Fanduel Lineup - Main Slate (7:05 PM) - 8/6/19

Hi Everyone!

We had a solid start to our week last night as our 171.9-point performance had us cashing in both our GPP’s & 50/50’s!

Let’s keep the winning going as we take a look at our lineup for the MLB FanDuel “Main Slate” that features 14 games and starts at 7:05pm.

Keeping this write-up pretty short as it was a long day at work and we’re just about an hour away from first pitch.

On the mound, I’m going with value tonight in the LHP Conner Menez of the San Francisco Giants who will be making his 2nd MLB start tonight agianst the Nationals. Menez was decent in his first MLB start in late July vs. the Mets (5.0 IP, 2 ER, 6 K) and don’t mind taking a chance on him as he has shown some solid strikeout upside in the minors this season, posting a 11.8 K/9 ratio.

With the money we’ve saved, we have some solid hitters in the lineup tonight.

For the Red Sox, we’re stacking Rafael Devers & Mookie Betts vs. the RHP Jakob Junis of the Kansas City Royals. Junis has allowed 10 ER’s on 16 hits (3 HR) over his last two starts and has allowed his opponents to post a .827 OPS.

Staying in this match-up, we’re getting the RHB of Whit Merrifield of the Royals in their match-up agianst the RHP Andrew Cashner. Casher is a reverse splits pitcher as he is allowing RHB’s to post a .282 average/.833 OPS and Merrifield is 2 for 4 with 2 doubles agianst Cashner in his career.

We have also paid up for the bats of Ketel Marte & Eduardo Escobar of the Diamondbacks in their match-up agianst the RHP Jake Arrieta of the Phillies. Arrieta has really struggled vs. LHB’s this season, allowing them to post a .313 average/.908 OPS. Both Marte & Escobar have had success agianst Arrieta as they are a combined 7 for 18 against him.

We’re grabbing some value Yankees bats in Mike Ford & Didi Gregorius in their match-up against Asher Wojciechowski of the Orioles. Wojciechowski has pitched better as of late, however, has allowed 3 HR’s over his last two starts and I think he is going to have trouble keeping the ball in Camden Yards tonight against the Yankees.

Rounding out the team, we’re going with Cincinnati’s Nick Senzel who is leading off against the LHP Jose Suarez.
