DFS - Fantasy Baseball - MLB Fanduel Lineup - Main Slate (7:05 PM) - 9/17/19
Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at 6:05 PM (N/A)
Hope everyone is having a good Tuesday!
Going to be doing more of a GPP lineup tonight! If you want to do a cash lineup, I would probably lean towards paying up for Verlander while still stacking the Twins and finding value to fill out your lineup.
Let’s take a look at tonight’s MLB “FanDuel” slate that features 14 games and starts at 7:05pm.
On the mound, we’re going with value with the RHP Mitch Keller of the Pittsburgh Pirates in his match-up against the Seattle Mariners. Keller comes into with a 8.29 ERA & 1.87 WHIP which obviously is concerning, however, he does have a respectable 3.78 SIERA and you have to love his upside as he has strikeout stuff (12.08 K/9 ratio) and a BB/9 ratio of just 2.84. Keller’s BABIP is currently at .477 which has no where to go but down and as I like the match-up agianst a Mariners team that currently ranks 28th in team strikeout rate (9.79 K’s/game), I think Keller is a perfect pitcher to take chance on in a GPP lineup.
On the offensive end, we’re starting off with a 4-man stack of the Minnesota Twins in their match-up agianst the LHP Ross Detwiler of the Chicago White Sox. Detwiler comes into this game with a 6.79 ERA & 1.67 WHIP while allowing his opponents to post a .308 average/.952 OPS. Detwiler has really struggled vs. RHB’s, allowing them to post a .333 average/.612 slugging %/1.027 OPS and has allowed 10 ER’s (4 HR’s) in just 14.0 IP agianst the Twins this season.
For the Twins, we’re going to go with Jonathan Schoop, Miguel Sano, Jorge Polanco, & Nelson Cruz.
We’re going to go with a 3-man stack of New York Mets as they have a great match-up agianst the RHP Tim Melville of the Rockies at Coors Field tonight. Melville comes into this game with a 5.16 ERA & 1.54 WHIP and has really struggled at Coors Field as over his 10.0 IP he has allowed 10 ER’s while allowing opponents to hit .405 against him. Melville is coming off a start agianst San Diego in which he gave up 4 ER’s over 3.0 IP and is allowing LHB’s to post a .333 average/.604 slugging %/1.008 OPS.
For the Mets, we’re going with Pete Alonso, Michael Conforto, & Jeff McNeil.
Rounding out our team, I’m going with the Nationals 3B, Anthony Rendon, in his match-up against the RHP Miles Mikolas of the St. Louis Cardinals. Mikolas comes into this game with just a 4.28 ERA, however, hasn’t fared well agianst Washington in his career, allowing the current roster to post a .375 average/.878 OPS. Rendon is having a monster season, hitting .333 with 34 HR’s & 119 RBI’s and is 3 for 6 lifetime vs. Mikolas.
