Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at 6:05 PM (N/A)
Hope everyone is having a great Wednesday!
We actually did two lineups for the first time last night and I’m happy I did because our 2nd lineup with a 192.1-point performance led by Gerrit Cole who had a monster 73-point performance.
Let’s take a look at tonight’s FanDuel MLB “Main Slate” lineup that features 12 games and starts at 7:05pm.
On the mound, we’re going to pay up for Mets Jacob deGrom in his match-up agianst the Miami Marlins. deGrom has once agianst been absolutely incredible this season as he comes into this game with a 2.51 ERA & 0.99 WHIP while holding his opponents to just a .210 average/.589 OPS. deGrom has been lights out as of late, as over his last two starts, he has allowed 0 ER’s while striking out 17 over 14.0 IP. deGrom has an impressive 11.33 K/9 ratio on the season and has a great match-up against a Miami team that ranks 25th in team batting average vs. RHP (.240 average) & 21st in team strikeout rate (9.03 K’s/game).
On the offensive end, we’re going to start with a 3-man stack of Cleveland Indians in their matchup against the LHP Ross Detwiler of the Chicago White Sox. It’s been a tough season for Detwiler as he comes into this match-up with a 6.98 ERA & 1.72 WHIP while allowing his opponents to post a .311 average/.973 OPS against him. Detwiler has posted a 10.57 ERA so far in the month of September and was rocked by the Indians recently as he lasted just 2.2 innings, while giving up 4 ER’s on 4 hits & 6 BB’s.
For the Indians, we’re going with Jose Ramirez, Francisco Lindor, & Jordan Luplow.
We have a 2-man stack of Toronto Blue Jays in their match-up agianst the RHP Gabriel Ynoa of the Orioles. Ynoa comes into this game with a 5.65 ERA & 1.37 WHIP while allowing his opponents to post a .281 average/.855 OPS. Ynoa has been crushed by the HR ball this season as he is currently posting a 2.58 HR/9 ratio and has allowed 5 HR’s over 14.1 IP against the Blue Jays this season.
For the Blue Jays, we’re going with Rowdy Tellez & Billy McKinney.
I love the value that Brian Dozier brings to the table as he is leading off agianst the HR-prone LHP Drew Smyly of the Philadelphia Phillies who currently has a 2.59 HR/9 ratio.
Austin Hays has been a bright spot for the Orioles as of late as over his 17 games since being called up, Hays has posted a .291 average with 4 HR’s & 12 RBI’s. Hays will be up agianst Jacob Waguespack wo has allowed 6 HR’s over his last 20.0 IP and has actually struggled much more agianst RHB’s, allowing them to post a .286 average/.876 OPS.
Rounding out our team will be Ryan O’Hearn of the Kansas City Royals in his match-up against Josh Tomlin of the Atlanta Braves. O’Hearn is starting to look like the player we saw at the end of last season, as over his last two starts, he has gone 4 for 7 with 2 doubles, 1 HR, & 5 RBI’s. O’Hearn will be up against Josh Tomlin tonight who we all know from his Cleveland days, is no stranger in allowing HR’s.
