Hi Everyone!

Hope everyone has had a great Thursday!

We got back on the winning track in last night’s MLB FanDuel “Main Slate” as our 153.2-point performance has us cashing in both GPP’s & 50/50’s, however, it looks like at this point, that our “Early Only” lineup today is going to come up short.

Let’s continue our “Main Slate” success as we take a look at tonight’s slate that features 7 games and starts at 7:07 PM.

We have some weather to look at tonight, however, the latest reports look like both the ATL/PHI match-ups are safe and have just a minimal delay risk.

I’m keeping this article pretty short as I’m not getting out of work anytime soon and probably will be commuting home when the slate starts. My lineup is pretty safe and shouldn’t need any changes as lineup has already had the lineups confirmed and poise not weather threats.

On the mound, we’re paying up for Justin Verlander. Verlander is the clear-cut choice on the slate and in my opinion, there is no reason to try and get cute with the value options.

On the offensive end, we’re going back to an Atlanta stack against the LHP Drew Smyly of the Philadelphia Phillies. Smyly has been hit or miss since the Phillies and I think tonight is going to be a short night for the left-hander who comes into this game with a 6.20 ERA & 1.60 WHIP.

For the Braves, we’re going with Ozzie Albies (.388 avg/1.083 OPS vs LHP), Dansby Swanson (.303 average/.847 OPS vs. LHP), and Josh Donaldson who is 9 for 19 with 3 doubles & 3 HR’s against Smyly.

We’re going to have a 2-man stack of Boston Red Sox against their former teammate, Clay Buchholz. Buchholz is allowing his opponents to post a .283 average & .812 OPS and as he just doesn’t have the arsenal to strike hitters out anymore, I think the Red Sox have some great value today.

For the Red Sox, we’re going with Andrew Benintendi & Jackie Bradley Jr.

We’re staying in this match-up and also going with a 2-man stack of the Blue Jays against RHP Jhoulys Chacin of the Red Sox. Chacin has looked good in since joining the Red Sox, however he still comes into this game with a 5.60 ERA & 1.52 WHIP on the season while allowing LHB’s to post a .845 OPS against him.

For the Blue Jays, we have Rowdy Tellez who has crushed the Red Sox this season to the tune of a .410 average/1.515 OPS in 39 AB’s (7 HR’s) and Billy McKinney who has some HR pop for a min-price of $2,000.

Rounding out the team, we wanted to get one LHB’s of the Dodgers in our lineup against Dylan Bundy and did so with their talented rookie, Gavin Lux, who in his last start, went 3 for 4 with a HR.

Don’t forget to follow me on Twitter (@BrettCU05) as this is the easiest platform to post any last-minute changes to the lineup.

Good luck!
