DFS – Fantasy Basketball – NBA DraftKings Initial Lineup – 1/24/19
It’s Wednesday and we have a big 4-game NBA Slate tonight that starts at 8:00 pm.
I’m traveling this morning so I’m not doing much of an article today.
Let’s see who we have going for our initial DraftKings lineup today.
I’m initially targeting the MIN/LAL game as although it has just the 3rd highest Over/Under on the slate, I’m a bit worried about blowout potential in both the GSW/WAS & NOR/OKC games.
We’ll have to keep an eye out for the status of Rondo, however, he did state he didn’t think he would have a minutes restriction if he was able to play tonight and with Lonzo Ball out with an ankle injury, Rondo could be in for a big game. Minnesota has been terrible against the SF/PF positions this season and I think Brandon Ingram & Kyle Kuzma have great value at their current price points.
For Minnesota, we have Wiggins in there for right now as his $5,600 seems a bit too low for me in what is a good match-up.
The POR/PHO game also has some blowout potential, however, I don’t mind attacking this game a bit in hopes that the Suns can keep it close.
With T.J. Warren & Deandre Ayton out, Devin Booker has some great upside as he should be easily putting up 20+ shots tonight. Kelly Oubre Jr. has been a solid producer since being acquired for the suns and should see some extra run with Warren out. I think you can also go with some value with the Suns if you want to spend up elsewhere as Josh Jackson went off for a 52.0 DraftKings point performance last game and Dragan Bender has posted back-to-back double-doubles with both Holmes & Ayton out. If Holmes is playing tonight, he is also someone to take a look at later.
For Portland, it’s hard not to go with Jusuf Nurkic with how undersized the Suns are right now. Nurkic’s price has gone up a bit, but he has 60+ DraftKings point upside in this match-up.
As we are able to fit in two Centers with the UTIL spot in DraftKings, I did add Jahlil Okafor in our DraftKings lineup as he is coming off back-to-back 40+ DraftKings performances and between his low-price tag and the fact they’ll need his size against OKC, I don’t mind rolling the dice with him again tonight.
Check back later for updates.
