DFS – Fantasy Basketball – NBA DraftKings Initial Lineup – 12/27/18

UPDATE (7:46 PM) - Rolling with the same lineup! Good Luck!

Hi Everyone!

We have a 5-game NBA slate tonight that starts at 8:00pm and let’s take a look at our initial lineup.

Please note, we are waiting on some injury updates in James Harden & JaVale McGee so please come back later as I’ll have an updated lineup posted around 7:30pm.

When it comes to the Boston/Houston matchup, this one is really going to come down to if Harden plays or not. If Harden does play, I think this could be a competitive game and I think the Kyrie Irving becomes a great option. As of right now, I’m avoiding  it right now but that will change if Harden is able to go.

The LAL/SAC matchup looks like the game to target tonight as both these offenses play fast and the current Over/Under is listed at 231.5. Sacramento will be on the 2nd half of a back-to-back but I’m not too concerned about that as the match-up is almost as good as it gets against a Lakers team that will be without Lebron James. We’re stacking the Kings with Fox & Hield.

As for the Lakers, we want to get some exposure so as of right now we have Lonzo Ball, Kyle Kuzma, Ivica Zubac in the lineup. With both James & Rondo out, Ball should be seeing the ball in his hands a bunch tonight. I’m always worried about the scoring with Ball however, he fits nicely with my current Lakers stack and certainly has some upside at his price point. Kuzma has no problem putting up a ton of shots and as I expect him to put up at least 20 shots tonight, he has major upside as his price has come down over the past week. Zubac has been a monster filling in for JaVale McGee and if McGee is out, I don’t mind going with Zubac again even if his price is now sitting at the $5,400.

Malcolm Brogdon is the definition of a “glue player” for the Bucks and is coming off a solid 37.3 DraftKings point performance agianst the Knicks on Christmas Day. Brogdon is averaging 15.2 ppg, 3.4 apg, 4.7 rpg on the season and as I liked how he put up 14 shots agianst the Knicks recently, I think he can easily hit 5x value tonight.

Rounding out the team, I’m going with both Noah Vonleh & Kevin Knox of the Knicks. Both Vonleh & Knox have been seeing minute sin the mid-30’s as of late and both put up 30+ DraftKings point agianst the Bucks on Christmas. I’m a bit worried about the blowout here as they are in Milwaukee but as of right now, I’m rolling both Vonleh & Knox as they are at decent prices and we know they are going to see the floor a bunch.

Check back later for updates!

Good Luck!
