Update (6:28 PM) - Hi Everyone! Made my updates! Imaged is updated. Good Luck!!!
Hope everyone had a solid start to their weeks!
We got an exciting 8-game NBA slate tonight that’s starts at 7:00 pm and let’s take a quick look at our early AM initial lineup for DraftKings!
Minnesota’s backcourt is still pretty banged up and as Teague looks doubtful while Rose & Jones have already been ruled out. Due to this we’re going to start off our DraftKings lineup with Jerryd Bayless who is his last 6 games is averaging 36.8 DraftKings points/game, which includes a monster 51.75 DraftKings point performance against the same Grizzlies team Minnesota faces off against tonight. We’ll have to make sure Teague is out, however, as Memphis ranks just 21st vs. opposing PG’s, I’m making sure I get Bayless in my lineup.
I’m currently going pretty heavy in the BOS/CLE match-up and it starts with Boston as with Kyrie Irving out, I have no problems rostering Terry Rozier, Jaylen Brown, & Al Horford.
Rozier is a different player when he gets that start and has been outstanding lately when Kyrie has been on the sides lines as in his recent games against Cleveland, Brooklyn, & Charlotte, Rozier averaged an incredible 44.2 DraftKings points in those three contests. Rozier went off for a 48.0 DraftKings points performance (26 pts, 8 reb, 6 ast, 1 stl) against Cleveland in late January and although he certainly isn’t much of a value pick with his $6,700, it’s hard to argue with the results Rozier has posted when Irving is out.
Jaylen Brown has been the odd man out for most of the season for the Celtics however, the former 3rd overall pick has been playing some of his best basketball as of late and should see plenty of opportunity tonight as Kyrie Irving will be out with a sore hip. Brown has gone off for performances of 33, 33, & 43 DraftKings points in the last three games in which Irving has been out and I think he will once against have a solid 30+ DraftKings point night in a great match-up against the Cavaliers.
Al Horford is fully healthy again and is starting to look really solid for the Celtics as over his last 5 games, the big man from Florida is averaging 16.2 ppg, 8.4 rpg, 5.2 apg, 2.4 bpg, and 1.2 spg. Horford is averaging 42.1 DraftKings pts/game over his last 6 games and as his price is still very affordable at $6,600, I think he is an almost must play at either the PF/C position tonight.
Cleveland will be without a bunch of players as they just raided Rodney Hood to Portland and will be without Cedi Osman, Kevin Love, and Tristan Thompson. Burks is averaging 30.8 minutes per game over his last 5 games and put up a solid 37.75 DraftKings point performance against Boston two weeks in which he went off for 10 points, 9 rebounds, 6 assists, 2 blocks, and 2 steals.
Myles Turner was able to put up a solid 36.75 DraftKings point performance last night against the Pelicans and has been solid over his last three games as he is averaging 18.7 ppg, 7.0 rpg, 1.3 apg, 1.7 bpg, & 1.7 spg. Turner struggled against the Lakers in his earlier outing this season, with Victor Oladipo out for the season, the Pacers will need Turner to be more of a force on the offensive end.
Paul George is putting up MVP numbers this season and he has even been more incredible as of late as over his last 5 games, he is putting up averages of 35.2 ppg, 8.2 rpg, 4.6 apg, & 2.0 spg, Paul George torched the Magic for 37 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists, & 3 steals last week and I just don’t see any reason why he can’t put up about 60 DraftKings points tonight.
Fred VanVleet should be seeing plenty of time today as Kyle Lowry is currently listed as doubtful for the Raptors in their solid match-up against a fast-paced Philadelphia team tonight. VanVleet put up a solid 31.25 DraftKings point performance on Sunday (9 pts, 5 reb, 7 ast, 3 stl) and has shown on many occasions this season when Lowry has been out that he can produce at a high level.
