Update (6:43 PM) - i was going to fade Kaminsky on DK over to put in Hayward, but not that MKG is also out for the Hornets, I just have to play Kaminsky. Image is updated. Good Luck!
Update (6:43 PM) - Hi Everyone! Loading up on a SAC/WAS stack tonight! Image is updated! Good Luck!
We couldn’t end up with a week on our DraftKings lineup as our 266.75-point performance fell well short of what we needed to cash in both our 50/50’s & GPP’s. We got solid performances by a Luka Doncic (59.75 points), Taj Gibson (42.5 points) & Frank Jackson (34.5 points), however, couldn’t overcome less than stellar performances by James Harden (33.25 points) & Trae Young (31.75 points).
Let’s get back to our winning way as we have an exciting 6-game NBA DraftKings slate tonight that starts at 7:00pm.
As I’ve been doing more lately, I’m just posting the images of my initial lineup as we generally will be making changes as the day goes on.
The match-up that screams out to me early in the morning is the SAC/WAS as these are two fast-paced teams that play little defense. I’m debating trying to get De’Aaron Fox also in the lineup, however, couldn’t make it work right now if I want to keep with Donovan Mitchell & Andre Drummond. For the Wizards we’re rostering Tomas Satoransky & Jabari Parker while for the Kings we have Buddy Hield and Bogdan Bogdanovic.
Cleveland is an interesting team to look at tonight as although they have a tough match-up against the Raptors, the Cavaliers are going to be really thin in the front court with Tristan Thompson, Larry Nacne Jr, and John Henson all listed is out. This opens up some solid value plays in Marquese Chriss & Ante Zizic. I currently have Zizic in the lineup as I’m able to fit him in with Andre Drummond. Zizic should see plenty of minutes tonight and I think he hits value.
Rubio & Neto have already been ruled out for the Jazz and although Exum is going to be back, he will most likely be on a minute’s restriction as he has missed the last two months due to an ankle injury. I don’t hate Utah’s match-up at home against the Thunder who have been playing at a fast pace as of late and you have to like Mitchell knowing he probably will get up around 25 shots tonight.
As I mentioned above, we’re paying up for Andre Drummond as he is almost a must-play for me in his match-up against the Nets. Drummond has crushed Brooklyn this year as in his two games against the Nets, he is averaging 24.0 ppg, 21.5 rpg, 1.5 apg, 1.5 bpg.
I’m keeping an eye on the status of Jayson Tatum of the Celtics who is currently questionable with a shoulder injury. Tatum didn’t look great against the Lakers and I wouldn’t be shocked if the Celtics are careful with him tonight. If he can’t go, I think Jaylen Brown becomes a solid value option as he would probably see 25-30 minutes and certainly has solid upside.
As always, I’ll be back taking a long look later in the day as the slate gets closer and I’ll post any adjustments by 6:30pm. If there are any really last-minute changes (which always happens basically every NBA slate…haha), I’ll post the image directly to my Twitter account (@BrettCU05).
Have a great Sunday everyone!
