Update (6:35 PM) - Hi Everyone! Made my adjustments! Image is updated! Good Luck!
We had a solid night last night with our NBA DraftKings lineup as our 311.25-point performance was more than enough to cash in both our GPP’s & 50/50’s. We had solid production across the board and were led by our superstars in Kyrie Irving (69.5 points), Paul George (55.5 points), and Kawhi Leonard (45.5 points). Let’s keep the winning going tonight as we take a look at tonight’s NBA DraftKings lineup that features an 8-game slate that starts at 7:00pm.
As of this morning, the two games I’m looking at closely are the CHA/WAS game and LAL/DET games.
CHA/WAS had a bunch of value recently in their Hornets 112-111 win a week ago and there is no reason to think that we can’t find similar value tonight. Kemba Walker & Bradley Beal didn’t hit their projections last time out but are obviously safe plays, however, I’m more looking at the mid-tier options in Jeremy Lamb (50 points), Marvin Williams (48.25 points), and Bobby Portis (41.75 points) who all crushed their projections last time out. Trevor Ariza is also currently questionable for this match-up which makes me even more interesting in Portis and possibility Jabari Parker and/or Jeff Green.
When it comes to the DET/LAL match-up we all know that the Lakers are giving up a bunch of points and the Pistons could be solid options across the board, especially if Reggie Jackson can’t go due to an ankle injury. If Jackson can’t go, Ish Smith & Luke Kennard become great value options and as the Lakers have had trouble defending opposing frontcourts all season, I’m comfortable paying up for Drummond tonight. As of right now I have Smith & Drummond in my DK lineup.
I also don’t hate the SAC/PHI matchup as this could be a high-scoring affair and we currently have Ben Simmons in the lineup who is coming off a monster 53.0-point performance against Cleveland. Simmons is currently questionable due to an illness but as of right now, he looks like he is probable for tonight.
Montrezl Harrell has a somewhat low floor, but you have to like his value tonight at just a $6,000 price-tag and a match-up against a Chicago Bulls team that can’t defend opposing frontcourts. Harrell put up a 47.25-point performance against the Trailblazers in his last game and I wouldn’t be shocked if he puts up similar numbers tonight.
The Spurs lost to New York not too long ago and I expect San Antonio to get some revenge tonight. I really like Derrick White as I just don’t think his price has adjusted on DK’s as much as it should be considering he has posted at least 34.5 DraftKings points in 5 of his last 6 games. White can stuff the stat sheet and if his shot is falling, he is can put up 40+ in this match-up.
As always, I’ll be back taking a long look later in the day as the slate gets closer and I’ll post any adjustments by 6:30pm. If there are any really last-minute changes (which always happens basically every NBA slate…haha), I’ll post the image directly to my Twitter account (@BrettCU05).
Have a great rest of your day!
