Update (6:29 PM) - Hi Everyone! Made my updates. Image updated below! Good Luck!
DFS – Fantasy Basketball – NBA FanDuel Initial Lineup – 1/24/19
It’s Thursday and we have a big 4-game NBA Slate tonight that starts at 8:00 pm.
I’m traveling this morning so I’m not doing much of an article today.
Let’s see who we have going for our initial FanDuel lineup today.
I’m initially targeting the MIN/LAL game as although it has just the 3rd highest Over/Under on the slate, I’m a bit worried about blowout potential in both the GSW/WAS & NOR/OKC games.
We’ll have to keep an eye out for the status of Rondo, however, he did state he didn’t think he would have a minutes restriction if he was able to play tonight and with Lonzo Ball out with an ankle injury, Rondo could be in for a big game. Minnesota has been terrible against the SF/PF positions this season and I think Brandon Ingram & Kyle Kuzma have great value at their current price points.
For Minnesota, we’ll have to keep an eye on the status of Jeff Teague, however, if he is out again, Rose almost becomes a must play. Wiggins is a bit risky, however, he does have some upside in this match-up and his price has become reasonable after a stretch of tough games.
The POR/PHO game also has some blowout potential, however, I don’t mind attacking this game a bit in hopes that the Suns can keep it close.
With T.J. Warren & Deandre Ayton out, Devin Booker has some great upside as he should be easily putting up 20+ shots tonight. Josh Jackson with outstanding last game and if you need to save some money, you can go with Bender as he has put up back-to-back double-doubles with both Ayton and Holmes out. If Holmes is able to go tonight, he is also worth a look.
For Portland, it’s hard not to go with Jusuf Nurkic with how undersized the Suns are right now. Nurkic’s price has gone up a bit, but he has 60+ FanDuel point upside in this match-up.
Check back later for updates.
