DFS – Fantasy Basketball – NBA FanDuel Initial Lineup – 12/18/18
Updated (6:20 PM) - We're going with a heavy WAS/ATL lineup as we're hoping for major contributions from 5 players in that matchup. I'm still a bit hesistant to roster many Lakers as their playing their 3rd road game in four nights however, I don't mind going with Ball who I think could flirt with a triple-double if he can get enough points. I have Russell in their as you know he is going to be put up a bunch of shots agianst his former team and Harris is good value. I'm "punting" the other SF position with Jaron Blossomgame as I think Cleveland will need some more size tonight agianst Indiana and he could get some garabge time if this game becomes a blowout. Image is updated! Good Luck!
Here is the initial lineup I have for tonight's NBA FanDuel Contests that start at 7:00pm.
I'm not going to deep into my lineup as of right now as I'm most likely going to make some changes when I get home from work today.
Here are some of my thoughts:
WAS/ATL - John Wall/Bradley Beal are obviously expensive but it’s going to be hard to fade both in their matchup agianst the Hawks. Right now, I’m paying up for Wall and if I think this game is going to stay close (currently just a -2.5 spread in favor of WAS) I might try to get Beal in the lineup also. For Atlanta, I love the bigs in this matchup and currently have John Collins in. As SF is a tough position tonight, I don’t mind taking a chance with Bembry who has upside.
LAL/BKN - I'm a bit nervous rostering a bunch of Lakers concerning they are playing their 3rd game in 4 nights (all on the road). If I'm going to roster the Lakers, it will be with their bigs (Kuzma & McGee) as the matchup agianst Brooklyn doesn't get much better and currently I have McGee in even though we need to monitor his status as he is a GTD. I really like what Brooklyn brings to the table tonight against what should be a tired Lakers team. I currently have Dinwiddie & Harris in.
CLE/IND - This is another matchup where some Indiana players have some great matchups however, there is major blowout risk here. I’m not against targeting some players in this matchup but I think the other matchups bring more upside.
DAL/DEN - Denver is riddled with injuries as of right now and with Hernangomez now questionable, this could lead to some major value. I love Morris in this spot and might add in a few others depending on if we get more injury news prior to the slate starting. For Dallas, it's hard to go against Doncic as of right now as he has put up 46+ FanDuel points in 2 of his last 3 games and is still has a very reasonable price tag.
