DFS - Fantasy Basketball - NBA FanDuel Initial Lineup - 12/22/18
UPDATE (6:32 PM) - John Wall isn't playing so I'm liking this lineup now! I'm going forward with this one.
UPDATE (6:19 PM) - They are not going to make it easy on us tonight as with Lowry now having a chance to play and Wall be downgraded to questionable, it could be a lot of last minute changes for our lineups tonight. As of now, I wanted to get Devin Booker in my lineup in the matchup agianst Washington and I've upgaded at the PG postion with Stephen Curry. I replaced Muscala at Center as he is getting the start tonight. We still have Harden in the lineup and will be hoping that Anunoby or Johnson can have a decent game.
As there is going to probably be some last second updates, follow me on Twitter @BrettCU05 as that's the easist way for me to post a quick image.
Let's take an early look at the 6-game NBA FanDuel slate that starts at 7:00pm tonight!
We’re going right to the Raptors to start out our team tonight as between the fact we know that Leonard, Lowry, & Ibaka is out and Green is currently doubtful, we have a bunch of value in what is a decent matchup agianst the Philadelphia 76ers who can give up some points. We're not going to mess around just going to roster basically what should be the starting lineup in Fred VanVleet, Delon Wright, OG Anunoby, and Pascal Siakam. I don't think we can expect monster games from all four players however, I think as a unit, we could get an average of 30-35 FanDuel points per player in this matchup.
John Wall has struggled in his last two games, but I think that could play in our favor with a lower ownership tonight. I'm not afraid at all taking Wall as he has one of the best matchups on the slate as Phoenix has been awful against opposing PG's all season.
Chris Paul is sidelined once against with that hamstring injury which means basically makes James Harden a must play. In the last two games that Paul missed previously, Harden put up a combined 154.8 FanDuel points in two games against Washington & Dallas.
Trevor Ariza will be going up agianst his old club in Phoenix tonight and with Otto Porter Jr. still out of the lineup, it's hard to stay away from Ariza after he posted outings of 51.6 & 35.7 FanDuel poitns in his first two games with the Wizards.
James Johnson has started to look more like the James Johnson of old as of late and I think he'll see 20-25 minutes tonight, I think he is a solid "low-scoring" option on FanDuel tonight.
At center, we're going back to the PHO/WAS game and going with Deandre Ayton of the Suns in a good matchup agianst a Washington team that is still missing Dwight Howard. Ayton is more dangerous with Booker/Warren in the lineup and has been a monster as of late as he is averaging 20.6 ppg & 14.3 RPG over his last three games.
