Update (6:09 PM) - Hi Everyone! Made some updates! I decided to go with Brogdon & Antetokounmpo in their solid match-up at Washington. If Washington can make this is a game, their is going to be a lot of points scored in this one and these two should have monster games with Eric Bledsoe already ruled out. We're going with some value with Monte Morris, Dwight Powell, and Kenrich Williams. We also still have Vucevic at center in his good match-up agianst Brooklyn. Image is updated! Good Luck!
It’s the weekend and we ended the week with a decent performance as our 281.4 FanDuel point performance had us cashing in our 50/50’s.
We have a huge 11-game slate NBA slate tonight that starts at 7:00pm.
Let’s take a look at our FanDuel initial lineup, however, I’m sure we’ll be making some changes as the day goes on.
At the PG positions, I’m currently going with a couple of mid-range options in Atlanta’s Trae Young & San Antonio’s Derrick White.
Young has been outstanding as of late as over his last 4-game, he is averaging 26.8 ppg, 8.3 apg, & 2.5 rpg. Young has a great match-up agianst the Phoenix Suns who rank just 28th vs. opposing SG’s on the season and as has posted 40+ FanDuel point performances in 3 of his last 4 games.
Derrick White I think has great value tonight in his matchup against the Pelicans who have really struggled agianst opposing PG’s this season. White is averaging just 9.7 ppg, 3.4 rpg, & 3.6 apg on the season but has been playing much better as of late, as over his last 5 games, White is averaging 16.8 ppg, 4.4 rpg, 4.4 apg, 1.0 bpg, and 1.6 spg. White put up a monster 46.6 point performance against Brooklyn on Thursday in just 24 minutes of action and I think he’ll top 40+ FanDuel points tonight.
Jrue Holiday is really is the last starter standing for the Pelicans and as he should once against have an incredible usage rate against a San Antonio team that has been less than average defending opposing backcourts, I don’t have any hesitations paying up for Holiday tonight.
Monte Morris has been seeing major minutes while the Nuggets have been without Jamal Murray as the former Iowa State product has played an average of 38.5 mpg in his last two games. Morris has posted back-to-back 42+ FanDuel point performances with the minutes and as the Nuggets have a solid match-up agianst a banged up Minnesota backcourt, I think Morris will continue to crush value at his $4,700 price.
Darius Miller will continue to have solid value with all the injuries that the Pelicans currently have and similar Morris, has seen an average of 38.5 mpg in his last two games. Miller has posted back-to-back 30+ FanDuel performances in those two games, despite shooting just 34.6% from the field. Miller has huge upside if he is going to be putting up 10+ three-pointers per game and I think he has 40+ FanDuel point upside if he can get his shot to fall against the Spurs tonight.
Cedi Osman has really stepped up as of late for the Cavaliers as over this past 4 games, Osman is averaging 24.3 ppg, 6.3 rpg, 3.8 apg, & 1.5 spg in 36.8 mpg. Osman posted an incredible 48.5 FanDuel point performance agianst the Wizards earlier this week and it seems that he is being more aggressive on the offensive end, I think he has great value in his match-up against the Mavericks tonight.
I’m going to with Dwight Powell as our low-scoring option tonight as I imagine that he is going to see another 20-25 minutes tonight as he did Thursday against the Pistons. Powell put up a solid 26.5 FanDuel point performance (10 pts, 5 reb, 1 ast, 1 blk, 1 stl) against Detroit and I think he can get us 20-30 FanDuel points tonight.
Rounding out the team, I’m pairing both Aaron Gordon & Nikola Vucevic in their great match-up against the Brooklyn Nets who have really struggled against opposing frontcourts all season. Gordon was averaging 40+ FanDuel points in his previous three games before his disappointing outing agianst the Pacers on Thursday and I just think he has great value at just $7,200. Vucevic is having a career season with the Magic and has been outstanding as of late as he has posted averages of 22.4 ppg, 12.2 rpg, 4.2 apg, 1.4 bpg, & 1.2 spg over his last 5 games.
