Happy Thursday and I hope everyone enjoyed the NBA All-Star game! As I do DFS for NBA, NFL, and MLB there are only two breaks per year (NBA All-Star; MLB All-Star), however, it’s amazing after having one day off, that I’m bored and upset there are no slates…haha.
Let’s get back to winning lineups as we take a look at our initial FanDuel lineup for tonight’s 6-game slate that starts at 7:00.
As I’ve been doing more lately, I’m just posting the images of my initial lineup as we generally will be making changes as the day goes on.
With Joel Embiid out, we’re going to heavily target the 76ers and currently have Butler, Harris, and Marjanovic in the lineup. We’ll have to keep an on to ensure that Marjanovic gets the start, but if he does, he has some great value at just $3,800.
We’re also targeting the LAL/HOU matchup a not as we have three players in that match-up.
For the Lakers, after seeing LeBron telling us that he is going to be in “playoff mode”, I think he is a must play tonight. I also don’t mind Kuzma as his production/usage doesn’t take that big of a hit with LeBron in the lineup.
For the Rockets, I think Chris Paul is a very reasonable price on FD and has started to look a bit like the old Chris Paul as he had a solid 4 games prior to the All-Star break in which he was averaging 40+ FanDuel points per game.
Chris LeVert saw 30 minutes of action in his 2nd game back from injury and as his price hasn’t adjusted, I imagine he will be highly owned tonight.
Tyler Johnson has a great match-up against Cleveland who had been giving up big points to opposing PG’s all season.
Jake Layman has carved out a solid role with the Trailblazers as he has seen between 25-33 minutes in each of his last 8 games and has hit 5x value in five of those games, including topping 40+ FanDuel points twice.
As always, I’ll be back taking a long look later in the day as the slate gets closer and I’ll post any adjustments by 6:30pm. If there are any really last-minute changes (which always happens basically every NBA slate…haha), I’ll post the image directly to my Twitter account (@BrettCU05).
Have a great Thursday!
