Update (6:33 PM) - Made some updates, however, will still need to keep an eye on the injury reports as we're still waiting for some key news. Image is updated. Good Luck!
Hope everyone made it through their weeks and have had a great start to their weekends!
We came out strong out of the gates last night with our FanDuel lineups however, our 330.30-point performance came up short in both our 50/50’s & GPP’s last night. We decided to pay up for Nikola Vucevic in his great match-up against the Bulls, however, we should have stuck with the value at the center position as Joakim Noah was the correct call as he finished the day with 47.7 points. We also choose incorrectly going with Dario Saric instead of Taj Gibson.
Let’s get back on the winning track and take a look at our NBA FanDuel lineup tonight for the 10-game “Main” slate that starts at 7:00pm.
As I’ve been doing more lately, I’m just posting the images of my initial lineup as we generally will be making changes as the day goes on.
We have a lot of injury situations to monitor today as some major players in including James Harden, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Karl-Anthony Towns, and Myles Turner all have injury designations on them right now and if any of them sit, we’ll have a bunch of solid value options to look at.
As of right now, we’ll have to take another long look at Memphis tonight and currently we’re going to roster both Ivan Rabb & Joakim Noah, however, we’ll have to keep an eye on the status of Jonas Valanciunas who is currently questionable for tonight. Rabb is probably a must-play even if Valanciunas plays, but we would probably switch out Noah if Valanciunas gives it a go.
If Myles Turner is out again, I think we have to get Domantas Sabonis in the lineup as he should have no problem putting up bigs numbers agianst the Washington frontcourt. Kyle O’Quinn is also an option at center if we really want to go with value
Tyler Johnson has a big game agianst Cleveland earlier this week and is in another great match-up agianst the Hawks. Johnson saw 33 minutes last game and if he sees that same amount of time again, he should be able to easily hit value at his current price.
We’re paying up Westbrook for the 2nd straight night as he has a great match-up in what should be a fast-paced game agianst the Kings. We’re also going with Buddy Hield & Bogdanovic who both have solid upside in this match-up.
We’ll continue to pay up for “Playoff” LeBron and love the value that Oubre Jr. brings in a solid match-up against the Hawks.
As always, I’ll be back taking a long look later in the day as the slate gets closer and I’ll post any adjustments by 6:30pm. If there are any really last-minute changes (which always happens basically every NBA slate…haha), I’ll post the image directly to my Twitter account (@BrettCU05).
Have a great Saturday!
