DFS – Fantasy Football – NFL DraftKings Lineup – Saturday Only – 1/5/19

Hi Everyone!

It’s time for the NFL playoffs and let’s take a look at our NFL DraftKings “Saturday Only” Lineup that starts at 4:35pm tonight!

Don't Forget To Check Out Our FanDuel "Saturday Only" Lineup!!!

We’re going to be targeting the Houston offense on this slate and we are paying up for both QB Deshaun Watson & WR DeAndre Hopkins, while hoping to find some solid value with WR DeAndre Carter.

Watson finished the regular season completing 68.3% of his passes for 26 TD & 9 INT while averaging 260.3 passing yds/g. Watson is worth the price with his ability to also do damage on the ground as he has 551 rushing yards & 5 TD’s on 99 carries this season. In his two games against the Colts this season, Watson was 56 for 80 for 642 passing yards & 3 TD while also adding 76 yards & 1 TD on the ground.

DeAndre Hopkins always has had amazing talent and know that he has a QB that can get him the ball, Hopkins has become arguably the top WR in all of football. Hopkins finished this season with a career high 115 receptions for 1572 total yards & 11 TD’s. Hopkins put up two monsters games against Indy during the regular season as he combined for 14 receptions for 205 total yards & 2 TD’s. The Colts have been just average against the pass, this season, and if Houston is going to win this game, they’re going to need a big game out of their star WR.

We’re going to be paying up at the RB spot, so I’m going with the DeAndre for Houston, in WR DeAndre Carter. Carter is an unknown rookie out of Sacramento State, however, should be seeing the field plenty after the Texans lost Demaryius Thomas for the season due to injury and might be without Keke Coutee due to a hamstring injury. Over his last 3 games, Carter has seen has 10 receptions (15 targets) for 149 yards and I think he could be a solid value play today.

I think it’s a huge drop off after Ezekiel Elliott & Chris Carson and as I just don’t trust either Lamar Miller or Marlon Mack, I’m paying up for both Elliott & Carson today.

We all know that Elliott’s usage in the Cowboys offense is incredible considering he is also heavily involved in the Dallas passing game. Elliott has only 6 rushing TD’s on the season, however, is still averaging 95.6 rushing yds/g. Elliott set career highs with 77 receptions for 567 yards & 3 TD’s in the passing game. Elliott got the last week of the season off so as he should be plenty fresh today, I’m paying up for Elliott.

It’s going to be tough sledding for Chris Carson against a solid Dallas defense, however, Carson comes into the playoffs riding some solid momentum as he has posted at least 90 rushing yards & 1 TD in each of his last 4 games. Carson is a workhorse for the Seahawks and as we should expect him to see around 25 carries today, I think he is worth the high-price despite the tough matchup.

I can’t afford TY Hilton or Eric Ebron for the Colts, however, as I want to get some exposure to the Colts, I’m hoping that Chester Rodgers can have a big game. Hilton has torched the Texas secondary this season, however, I’m a bit concern that his ankle injury is going to affect him a bit in this one. Rodgers has a productive season as he had 53 receptions for 485 yards & 2 TD’s and as he had 13 receptions for 121 yards in his two games agianst the Colts this season, I’ll roll the dice with him tonight.

At the TE position, we’re going with Blake Jarwin who went off last week for an incredible 119 receiving yards & 3 TD’s on 7 receptions. We obviously can’t expect that type of performance from Jarwin today, however, he has seen at least 7 targets in 3 of his last 4 games and I think he can have a productive game if he can once again find the end zone.

At the FLEX position, as I had some extra salary, I’m going to be going with Marlon Mack of the Colts who although had trouble generating much offense against Houston earlier this season, had a solid 119 yards & TD performance against the solid rush defense of the Tennessee Titans last week. I don’t have the main weapons in the Colts passing game in my lineup so I’m hoping that when the Colts put points up on the board, it can come Mack on the ground.

I’m spending up for the Cowboys defense as I think they’ll be able to give Russell Wilson some trouble tonight at home. Dallas held their opponents to just an average of 18.5 ppg at home this season and they should be able to get some pressure/sacks, I think they are the defense to target this afternoon.
