2014 Breeder's Cup Turf Pick, Odds, Post Positions, and Preview

The 2014 Breeder’s Cup Turf is a race I have been looking forward to for quite some time.

Telescope is undoubtedly the horse I am most excited to play on Saturday… maybe all weekend.  While there is no such thing as a lock, it appears he may not go off favored, and in a race that is pegged as wide open based on morning lines, a very fair price could be in order.  4-1 is plenty to green light.  This race has been the target all year for this highly regarded colt and he comes into it in strong form.  Reports have Telescope enjoying his time at Santa Anita so far.  Magician is the defending champion in this race and he was a reasonable surprise last year and the same could be said if he were to repeat.  With that said, it is tough to discount a talented colt that clearly enjoyed his SoCal visit last fall.  Imagining will be forwardly placed underneath possibly the best turf rider our side has to offer.  Imagining has got a good look at the backside of Main Sequence in his past couple of efforts, but if this has been McGaughey’s end game all along, it is not that difficult to imagine him putting up a stronger fight.

On July 1, 2008 I typed into Google "How Do I start A Blog" and I started my first website called "Miami Mitch's Place" where i shared my college football Picks and predictions as well as opinion. By the Fall I had heard from many that the title made it sound like the site was about Miami so I changed it to "College Football Place" (cfbplace.com), After the 2008 college football season I change focus and launched CBBplace.com, it wasn't long after that when I realized I just wanted one place to add all sports, and that's when Sports Chat Place was born.

This site is a big Thank You to all of our readers, visitors, and community where we have been given a platform to talk to the masses about sports and hopefully help put you on some winners. If you need to reach me just shoot an email to [email protected]
