The San Francisco Giants and the Pittsburgh Pirates face off on Monday at AT&T Park for game one of their MLB series.
The San Francisco Giants are coming off of back-to-back losses but they are still in hot pursuit of the Dodgers in the NL West. The Giants are 6-4 in their last 10 games, 16-11 at home, and they are .5 games out of first place in the National League West. As a team the Giants are hitting .272 with Nori Aoki hitting .309, Brandon Belt hitting .306, and Angel Pagan hitting .305. The Giants pitching staff has an ERA of 3.71 with the starters at 3.84 and the bullpen at 3.44. For game one against eh Pirates the Giants start Ryan Vogelsong who has allowed 49 hits and 24 earned runs while striking out 38 over 51 innings for a 4-2 record and a 4.24 ERA.
San Francisco is 7-0 as an underdog, 17-4 against the NL Central, and 5-0 in Vogelsong’s last five starts. Pittsburgh is 8-2 in their last 10 games, 5-2 against the NL West, and 5-0 in Cole’s last five starts against the NL West.
This is a low total but I see a low scoring game so my free pick is Under. My stronger play is on the winning side and I will post that in the Premium Area as well as on the App.
The Arizona Diamondbacks and the Atlanta Braves face off on Tuesday at Chase Field for game two of their MLB series.

Starting pitcher Archie Bradley allowed eight hits and five runs while striking out one over 5.0 innings to take the loss and fall to 2-3 for the season. With the total at 8.5 I expect this one to stay under the total and that is my free pick. My stronger play is on the winning side and I will post that pick in the Premium Area as well as on the App.
