The Arizona Diamondbacks and the Atlanta Braves will meet up to finish their MLB series on Thursday.

In the Tuesday opener, the Diamondbacks managed a 9-6 victory. On Wednesday in game two, Arizona owned a close 3-2 game and came out with the win following a walk-off walk. ’

For the Thursday game, the Diamondbacks will be sending out Luke Weaver in the start. Across his 15.2 innings and 0-1 mark this year, Weaver has a 5.17 ERA with 15 Ks and four walks.

Over on the Braves’ side, they’re going with Touki Toussaint on Thursday. Over his 6.0 innings and 1-0 record this year, Toussaint has a clean 0.00 ERA with seven Ks and two BBs.

The Diamondbacks are 0-5 in the last five in game three of a series and 0-4 in their last four Thursday games. The over is 4-0 in Arizona’s last four Thursday games and the under is 3-1-1 in the last five in game three of a series.

Meanwhile, the Braves are 4-1 in the last five in game three of a series and 1-4 in their last five Thursday games. Atlanta is 4-1 in Toussaint’s last five starts and the over is 5-0 in his last five starts overall.

Weaver started out the year with a couple of okay-but-not-great starts (9.1 innings; seven earned; 11 hits) but really did put a good one together in his last outing—a tough-luck loss that went 6.1 innings with two earned.

As for Toussaint, we’ve only seen him the one time in a relief effort this year, but he put together some good starts later in the season during 2018. I’m going to stick with Toussaint to have a good outing and go Braves here.
