The Cincinnati Reds and the Atlanta Braves will meet up on the MLB diamond to continue their series on Saturday.

In the Thursday opener, the Braves banged out a 4-1 win. On Friday Cincinnati returned the favor with a 5-2 victory.

For the Saturday game, the Reds will send out Sonny Gray in the start. Over his 114.2 innings and 6-6 record this year, Gray has a 3.45 ERA with 130 Ks and 39 BBs.

Over on the Braves’ side, they’re going with Dallas Keuchel in the starting role Saturday. Over 49.0 innings and a 3-4 record, Keuchel has a 3.86 ERA with 38 Ks and 18 BBs.

The Reds are 3-7 in their last 10 Saturday games and 9-1 in Gray’s last 10 starts versus a team with a winning record. Cincinnati is 7-2 in Gray’s last nine starts and 7-2 in his last nine on grass.

Meanwhile, the Braves are 9-4 in their last 13 Saturday games and 51-25 in their last 76 in game three of a series. The under is 5-1 in Atlanta’s last six in game three of a series and 8-0 in Keuchel’s last eight starts.

Gray was riding a nice streak of five straight quality starts last month, but stumbled a bit in his last time out with four earned on six hits in 5.1 innings—he still got the win, though, and is 4-1 since June 16.

As for Keuchel, he’s given up 10 earned across 17.0 innings in his last three starts, with one quality start mixed in there, and is 0-2 in that time.

I like Gray to come out firing here and I’m going to take the Reds.

Pick:
Cincinnati Reds +105
