Atlanta Braves +117 / Milwaukee Brewers -127 O/U: 10
The Milwaukee Brewers and the Atlanta Braves will finish up their series on Sunday in MLB activity.
In the Friday opener, the Braves banged out a 12-8 victory. On Saturday, we had a 10-inning battle that ended with a walk-off homer that put the Braves up 4-3 in the win.
For the Sunday game, the Brewers will be sending out Brandon Woodruff in the start. In his 48.1 innings and 6-1 record this year, Woodruff has a 3.72 ERA with 59 Ks and 17 walks.
Milwaukee put up eight hits in the Saturday game, and three of those belonged to Lorenzo Cain, who finished 3-for-5 with a run and an RBI.
Over on the Braves’ side, they’re going with Mike Foltynewicz on Sunday. In his 21.1 innings and 0-3 record so far, Foltynewicz has an 8.02 ERA with 14 Ks and eight walks.
The big hero for the Braves on Saturday was Freddie Freeman, who put up a solo shot to walk off and win the extra-inning game in style. Freeman also had a double in a 2-for-5 night.
The Brewers are 19-9 in their last 28 in game three of a series and 1-4 in their last five Sunday games. Milwaukee is 4-0 in Woodruff’s last four starts and 7-2 in his last nine road starts.
Meanwhile, the Braves are 5-1 in their last six in game three of a series and 22-7 in their last 29 Sunday games. Atlanta is 0-4 in Foltynewicz’s last four home starts and 0-6 in his last six starts overall.
Woodruff has been on a nice run lately, with just three earned over a total of 22.0 innings across his last four starts.
As for Foltynewicz, he’s run into some troubles over his last pair of outings, with 10.2 innings total and 13 earned runs on 12 hits.
I like Woodruff to keep it going here, so I’m going to stick with the Brewers for a Sunday road win.
