Out at Oriole Park on Monday, the Cleveland Indians and the Baltimore Orioles will finishing up their MLB set.

The two teams split the first pair of games in this series, then on Sunday, the Indians pulled off a 7-3 win.

For the Monday game, the Indians will be bringing out RHP Carlos Carrasco. In his 27.2 innings and 3-0 mark this season, Carrasco has a 2.60 ERA with 21 Ks and four BBs.

Coming out of the week, the Indians’ lead hitter Francisco Lindor managed 16 hits, 10 runs and seven RBI. In the Sunday game, Lindor posted two hits, an RBI and a run.

Over on the Orioles’ side, they’re rolling with Kevin Gausman on Monday. In his 21.0 innings and 1-1 mark this season, Gausman has a 5.57 ERA with 19 Ks and six walks.

Entering this week, Manny Machado was the top Orioles hitter on 28 hits, 11 runs and 15 RBI. In the Sunday matchup, Machado homered twice among his three hits, both solo shots.

The Indians are 20-7 in their last 27 Monday games and 35-16 in their last 51 in game four of a series. Cleveland is also 4-0 in Carrasco’s last four Monday starts and 43-19 in his last 62 starts overall.

Meanwhile, the Orioles are 4-0 in their last four during game four of a series and 0-5 in their last five Monday games. Baltimore is also 2-5 in Gausman’s last seven starts and 2-5 in his last seven home starts.

After a shaky first outing, Carrasco has been great with just three earned across three starts. Gausman came out pretty ugly as well but since has pitched admirably overall. I like Carrasco here to come out firing so I’m going to go with the Indians.
