The Miami Marlins and Baltimore Orioles meet Saturday in MLB action at Oriole Park at Camden Yards.

The Miami Marlins look to stay hot after winning seven of their last 11 games. The Marlins have scored 10 runs in their last three games and four or more runs in six of their last 11 games. The Miami Marlins have won seven of their last nine games when scoring at least two runs. Brian Anderson leads the Marlins with 81 hits and 34 RBI while Starlin Castro and Derek Dietrich have combined for 140 hits and 50 RBI. Wei-Yin Chen gets the ball, and he is 1-3 with a 6.13 ERA and 31 strikeouts this season. This will be Chen’s first career game against the Orioles.

The Baltimore Orioles are desperate for a victory here that would snap an eight-game losing streak. The Orioles have allowed 13 runs in their last three games and four or more runs in six of their last eight games. The Baltimore Orioles have lost 15 straight games when allowing more than one run. Offensively, Manny Machado leads the Orioles with 79 hits and 50 RBI while Adam Jones and Trey Mancini have combined for 134 hits and 47 RBI. Alex Cobb gets the ball, and he is 2-8 with a 7.23 ERA and 37 strikeouts this season. Cobb is 3-1 with a 1.78 ERA and 19 strikeouts in his career against the Marlins.

The Marlins are 16-35 in their last 51 road games, 0-5 in their last 5 Saturday games and 1-5 in Chens last 6 road starts. The Orioles are 15-38 in their last 53 during game 2 of a series, 6-20 in their last 26 Saturday games and 2-9 in Cobbs last 11 starts. The Marlins are 4-1 in the last 5 meetings in Baltimore, 13-3 in the last 16 meetings and the over is 4-1 in the last 5 meetings in Baltimore.

We're getting plus money to fade a Baltimore Orioles team that's lost eight straight and has consistently been one of the worst clubs in baseball. The Miami Marlins have had their struggles of their own, but they're playing their best ball of the year with wins in seven of their last 11 tries. Also, you know Chen will be motivated for this contest after spending his whole career in Baltimore before moving to Miami. I'm not sure how anybody turns down the value of the Marlins at this price, as there's zero reason to pick the O's.
