MLB | Baltimore Orioles (7-5) at Toronto Blue Jays (6-7)

The Baltimore Orioles and Toronto Blue Jays begin a three-game series Tuesday night.

The Baltimore Orioles look for a win after splitting their last 10 games. The Orioles pitching staff has allowed five or more runs in four of their last eight games, including seven runs in seven innings on Monday. The Orioles have lost seven of their last nine regular season games when allowing more than three runs. Offensively, Adam Jones leads the way with 21 hits and 16 RBI while Chris Davis and Travis Snider have combined for 14 RBI. The Baltimore Orioles have won five of their last eight regular season games on the road. Bud Norris takes the hill, and he’s 0-1 with a 12.38 ERA and eight strikeouts this season. Norris is 4-1 with a 4.10 ERA and 29 strikeouts in his career against the Blue Jays.

The Toronto Blue Jays need a win after losing five of their last seven games. The Blue jays aren’t getting help from their pitching staff that’s allowed four or more runs in five straight games and 18 runs in their last three games. The Blue Jays have lost 10 of their last 15 when allowing more than three runs. Offensively, Josh Donaldson and Devon Travis have combined for 32 hits and 22 RBI while Jose Bautista has six hits in 42 at-bats. Five of the Toronto Blue Jays seven losses have come on their home field. Mark Buehrle gets the ball, and he’s 2-0 with a 3.75 ERA and five strikeouts this season. Buehrle is 9-10 with a 3.54 ERA and 82 strikeouts in his career against the Orioles.

The Orioles are 4-1 in their last 5 vs. American League East and 8-2 in Norris' last 10 starts. The Blue Jays are 6-14 in their last 20 during game 1 of a series and 8-3 in Buehrles last 11 starts. The Orioles are 18-44 in the last 62 meetings in Toronto and 6-1 in Norris' last 7 starts vs. Blue Jays.

The Blue Jays had an extra day off and have a pitcher who has been flat out money when taking the mound dating back towards the end of last season. I like the home team here for the reasonable price.

Toronto Blue Jays -135
