Chicago Cubs -105 / Los Angeles Dodgers -110

The Los Angeles Dodgers and the Chicago Cubs will continue their MLB series on Wednesday.
In the Tuesday opener of this set, Chicago managed a big 7-2 win thanks to six runs in the first two innings.
For Wednesday’s game, the Dodgers will be sending out RHP Walker Buehler for the start. In his 18.1 innings and 2-0 mark this year, Buehler has a 5.40 ERA with 17 Ks and six BBs.
The Dodgers had some chances in Tuesday’s loss, but couldn’t get a whole lot going. The two RBI on the night came from Justin Turner and Chris Taylor.
Over on the Cubs’ side, they’re going with Cole Hamels on Wednesday. Across his 26.0 innings and 3-0 mark this season, Hamels has a 2.77 ERA with 23 Ks and three walks.
Chicago’s big hitters on the night were Willson Contreras with a double and three RBI, and Javier Baez, with a homer, two hits and two runs.
The Dodgers are 5-1 in Buehler’s last six starts and 5-1 in his last six starts on grass. The under is 20-8 in LA’s last 28 in game two of a series and 5-0 in Buehler’s last five starts in game two of a series.
Meanwhile, the Cubs are 2-7 in their last nine in game two of a series and 4-1 in Hamels’ last five starts in game two of a series. Chicago is 5-2 in Hamels’ last seven home starts and the over is 7-3 in their last 10 Wednesday games.
Buehler has alternated bad starts (7.0 innings; 10 hits; 10 earned combined) with great starts (one earned; six hits; 11.1 innings combined) so far this year, but the good news is he lasted 6.1 innings his last time up and got another win.
As for Hamels, he had a bad one in his first start this year (5.0 innings; five earned) but since has put up three earned in 21.0 innings. I like Hamels to stay hot here and help the Cubs get a win.
