Cincinnati Reds +120 / Cleveland Indians -130 O/U: 10.5

The Cleveland Indians and the Cincinnati Reds will meet up on the MLB diamond Saturday for a weekend set.

Cleveland is coming off a series against the Royals this week. The Indians swept that one, taking victories 9-5 Tuesday, 4-0 Wednesday and 8-4 Thursday.

The Indians will be going with Shane Bieber in the start Saturday. Over his 104.1 innings and 7-3 mark this year, Bieber has a 3.54 ERA with 133 Ks and 23 BBs.

Over on the Reds’ side, they finished up against the Brewers this week in a four-game set. Cincinnati dropped Monday’s game, but took the other three 5-4, 3-0 and 1-0 for a series win.

Cincinnati is going with Anthony DeSclafani on the hill Saturday. Over 80.2 innings and a 5-4 mark so far, Bieber has a 4.35 ERA with 84 Ks and 24 BBs.

The Indians are 7-1 in their last eight after an off day and 5-1 in their last six versus the NL Central. Cleveland is 4-0 in their last four overall and 4-0 in their last four versus a team with a losing record.

Meanwhile, the Indians are 4-1 in their last five Saturday games and 4-0 in Bieber’s last four starts with four days’ rest. Cleveland is 7-2 in their last nine in game one of a series and 6-2 in their last eight after a win.

Bieber has been really solid over his last four starts, with a combined six earned across that time in 27.0 innings. He’s also got 37 strikeouts in that time but is a relatively tepid 2-1.

As for DeSclafani, he had a rough go in Milwaukee (six earned in 4.1 innings) but came back with 5.0 innings and zero earned in a win versus the Cubs his last time up.

This should be a pretty fun one to watch; I’m going with Bieber and the Indians though.
