The Cleveland Indians and the Kansas City Royals will be finishing up their set from Kauffman Stadium on Sunday in MLB activity.
The Royals took a stunner 5-4 on Friday in the opener, then on Saturday KC kept it going 7-1.
For the Sunday game, the Indians will be sending out RHP Shane Bieber. In his 74.1 innings and 7-2 mark this year, Bieber has a 4.36 ERA with 76 Ks and 15 BBs.
Heading into the weekend, Francisco Lindor led the Indians on 149 hits, 105 runs, 29 homers and 76 RBI. On Saturday, Lindor came up empty.

Tops on offense for the Royals is Whit Merrifield, who brought 149 hits, 61 runs and 44 RBI into the weekend. On Saturday, Merrifield had two hits and two RBI.

Over his last pair of starts, Bieber has given up three runs in each. He made it through just 4.1 innings in Cincinnati but fared better in Boston with 6.1 innings and five hits. As for Lopez, he coughed up six earned against Toronto but bounced back with one earned in 5.0 innings versus Tampa. All things considered here, this should be the Indians’ game to take.
