The Boston Red Sox and the Los Angeles Dodgers will be finishing up at Dodger Stadium on Sunday with Game 5 of the MLB World Series.

Boston took the first two games of this set 8-4 and 4-2, then LA struck back in Game 3 with an epic 18-inning walk-off victory 3-2. In Game 4 on Saturday, the Dodgers blew a 4-0 lead, coughing up nine runs from the seventh inning on. After an intense ninth inning, Boston took it 9-6. The Sox now lead the series 3-1 and this will be a decisive game Sunday.

For Sunday’s game, it initially looked like the Sox were going to send out Chris Sale, but they'll be saving him for a potential Game 6 at Fenway. Instead it'll be David Price in Game 5.

Andrew Benintendi and JD Martinez came into the weekend with 13 postseason hits apiece, and 18 runs, two homers and 18 RBI between them. In Game 4, Benintendi logged a hit and a run; Martinez whiffed 0-for-4.

Over on the Dodgers’ side, they’re sending out Clayton Kershaw for Game 5. With his 9-5 record this year, Kershaw managed a 2.73 ERA with 155 Ks.

Leading the way for the Dodgers this postseason is Justin Turner, who came into the weekend on 17 hits, five runs, a homer and four RBI. On Saturday, Turner put up three hits and a run.

The Red Sox are 21-8 in their last 29 Sunday games and 6-1 in their last seven road games.  Boston is 7-1 in their last eight playoff games and 15-3 in their last 18 World Series games.

Meanwhile, the Dodgers are 6-2 in their last eight Sunday games and 2-5 in their last seven in game five of a series. The over is 4-1 in LA’s last five Sunday games and they’re 18-6 in their last 24 home games.

Price is rolling now as a key postseason guy following back-to-back wins as a starter. He'll be appearing here on one day's rest; he got a couple of outs in Game 3's marathon.

As for Kershaw, he started in Game 1 as well, posting five runs on seven hits over his four-plus innings. Kershaw has a 3.91 ERA this postseason in his five outings (four starts).

When Sale was the expected starter, I was going to go Sox, but I don't think Price will stay in for long due to the short rest and it'll turn into a bullpen game. With that in mind, the over doesn't sound too bad, and I'm going to give the Dodgers a slight advantage.
