The Chicago Cubs and the Milwaukee Brewers will finish up their MLB set on Wednesday up at Miller Park.

The Brewers eked out a 4-3 win in the Monday opener, then in game two Milwaukee took a few innings to get going but when they did they powered through an 11-1 win.

For the Wednesday finale, the Cubs will be sending out LHP Jose Quintana. In his 141.0 innings and 11-9 mark this year, Quintana has a 4.21 ERA with 123 Ks and 61 BBs.

Javier Baez is the top Cubs hitter this year, coming into game two with 153 hits, 86 runs, 30 homers and 100 RBI. On Tuesday, Baez came up empty.

Over on the Brewers’ side, they’re rolling with Jhoulys Chacin on Wednesday. Across 163.1 innings and 14-5 record this year, Chacin has a 3.53 ERA with 135 Ks and 61 BBs.

Tops in hitting for the Brewers this year is Christian Yelich, who came into Tuesday with 156 hits, 96 runs, 27 homers and 83 RBI. In game two, Yelich had a hit and two RBI.

The Cubs are 8-3 in their last 11 in game three of a series and 5-1 in Quintana’s last six Wednesday starts. Chicago is 1-4 in Quintana’s last five starts and 0-4 in his last four road starts.

Meanwhile, the Brewers are 5-0 in their last five in game three of a series and 8-2 in Chacin’s last 10 home starts. Milwaukee is 12-4 in Chacin’s last 16 starts with four days’ rest and 2-5 in his last seven starts versus the NL Central.

It’s been a solid three starts for Quintana, who has given up just four earned on 13 combined hits across 16.0 innings in that time. Chacin has been pitching great as well, as he’s 4-1 in his last five starts, which have all been quality outings. This should be a fun pitching matchup to finish off the series, but I think the Brewers can eke one out here.

Milwaukee Brewers -118
