Up at Miller Park on Wednesday, the Cleveland Indians and the Milwaukee Brewers will be finishing up their MLB series.

In the Tuesday game, the Brewers eked out a 3-2 win.

On Wednesday, the Indians will be bringing out RHP Carlos Carrasco. In his 43.1 innings and 4-1 record this year, Carrasco has a 3.95 ERA with 39 Ks and 10 BBs.

Heading into Tuesday, the Indians’ top hitter was Francisco Lindor with 41 hits, 26 runs and 20 RBI. On Tuesday, Lindor hit a solo homer.

Over on the Brewers’ side, they’re going with Junior Guerra in the start Wednesday. Over his 27.0 innings and 2-2 record this year, Guerra has a 2.33 ERA with 25 Ks and 12 BBs.

Lorenzo Cain was the top Brewers hitter entering this series, with 31 hits, 19 runs and 10 RBI to his name. On Tuesday, Cain went 1-for-4.

The Indians are 9-3 in their last 12 Wednesday games and 19-8 in their last 27 in game two of a series. Cleveland is also 6-1 in Carrasco’s last seven starts with five days’ rest and 6-2 in his last eight Wednesday starts.

Meanwhile, the Brewers are 4-0 in their last four Wednesday games and 19-7 in their last 26 in game two of a series. Milwaukee is also 4-0 in Guerra’s last four Wednesday starts and 1-5 in his last six starts in game two of a series.

It’s been a tough two starts for Carrasco, who has given up 10 earned in 8.1 innings over his last pair. As for Guerra, he’s been solid overall but did cough up five earned on six hits in 5.0 innings his last time up. I’m going to stick with Guerra and pick the Brewers here.
