MLB | San Francisco Giants (25-19) at Milwaukee Brewers (16-29)

The San Francisco Giants look to get back in the win column when they visit the Milwaukee Brewers Monday.

The San Francisco Giants are the hottest team in the National League West but the winning must continue to ward odd the Dodgers. After winning eight in a row the Giants have suffered consecutive defeats after getting blasted 11-2 by Colorado on Sunday. Nothing went favorably for the Giants with veteran Tim Hudson charged with eight runs on six hits an two free passes over 3.2 frames to fall to 2-4. The bats were overmatched with six hits and two walks with Joe Panik and Brandon Belt driving in runs. im Lincecum shoots for another shutout when he oppose the Brewers at Miller Park. Lincecum comes off of a 4-0 victory versus the Dodgers with three hits and a pair of BB allowed over seven frames.

Time might be running out on the Milwaukee Brewers who must begin winning series or become an afterthought in the National League Central. The Brewers haven’t been able to get in any kind of groove yet and we saw that Sunday in a 2-1 defeat at Atlanta. Starter Jimmy Nelson was a tough luck loser with both runs plated on five hits and five bases on balls through 5.2 innings to drop to 2-5. The bats totaled three hits and walked twice with Elian Herrera connecting on a sacrifice fly that plated Carlos Gomez. Veteran Kyle Lohse looks to control the dangerous bats of San Francisco on Monday. Lohse has been outstanding the last two trips to the bump wit just two runs plated on nine hits over 14 innings.

San Francisco  are 8-1 in their last 9 overall and are 8-1 in their last 9 games on grass while going 10-22 in their last 32 Monday games. The over is 8-3-1 in Milwaukee’s last 12 home games and the Brewers are 4-10 in their last 14 games as a favorite while the over is 5-2-1 in their last 8 Monday games. I’d be careful here but the way Lincecum has been throwing I’ll back the Giants…

San Francisco +110

I have been a sports fan since I was old enough to pick up a ball and have always been drawn to competition. I don't participate in sporting events any longer but I do like to provide my opinion on games and writing gives me that outlet. I won't always be right but I always put 100% in to every article I do whether it's the World Series or an 0-10 college football team. Mitch shares that same passion and allows me to express myself in my own way.
