The San Francisco Giants and the Milwaukee Brewers will meet up on the MLB diamond Friday.

The Giants are sitting at 41-48 on the season right now, and just under .500 on the road at 21-22. San Francisco has won seven of their last 10 games.

For Friday’s game, San Francisco will send out Shaun Anderson in the start. Over his 3-2 record and 4.23 ERA this year, Anderson has 32 strikeouts to his credit.

Over on the Milwaukee side, they’re currently 47-44 this year and 27-18 at Miller Park. The Brewers are just 4-6 in their last 10 games overall.

The Brewers are going with Chase Anderson in the start on Friday. Anderson is 4-2 this season with a 4.32 ERA and 67 strikeouts thus far.

The Giants are 6-1 in their last seven overall and 4-1 in their last five Friday games. San Francisco is 7-3 in their last 10 in game one of a series and 5-2 in the last seven versus the NL Central.

Meanwhile, the Brewers are 1-5 in their last six overall and 2-6 in their last eight Friday games. Milwaukee is 2-6 in the last eight in game one of a series and 1-7 in their last eight versus the NL West.

This will be eight days’ rest for Anderson. He gave up four runs in four innings during his last start against the Padres on July 3, and this will be his first start against Milwaukee.

As for Anderson, he’s been kind of a utility pitcher and has been doing well lately with two earned or fewer in each of his last three starts. I like Anderson to keep rolling here and help the Brewers start out the second half with a win.

Pick:
Milwaukee Brewers -160
