The Baltimore Orioles and Minnesota Twins meet Friday in MLB action at Target Field.

The Baltimore Orioles could use a victory here after losing 10 of their last 11 games. The Orioles have allowed 12 runs in their last three games and four or more runs in 10 of their last 13 games. The Baltimore Orioles have lost 10 straight games when allowing more than two runs. Offensively, Manny Machado leads the Orioles with 101 hits and 59 RBI while Adam Jones and Trey Mancini have combined for 167 hits and 57 RBI. Dylan Bundy gets the ball, and he is 6-7 with a 3.75 ERA and 108 strikeouts this season. Bundy is 0-2 with a 3.60 ERA and 18 strikeouts in his career against the Twins.

The Minnesota Twins also need a win here after losing eight of their last 10 games. The Twins have allowed seven runs in their last three games and six or more runs in six of their last 10 games. The Minnesota Twins have lost 11 straight games when allowing more than two runs. Offensively, Eddie Rosario leads the Twins with 102 hits and 53 RBI while Eduardo Escobar and Brian Dozier have combined for 155 hits and 84 RBI. Lance Lynn gets the ball, and he is 5-7 with a 5.49 ERA and 82 strikeouts this season. Lynn is 1-1 with a 7.30 ERA and 16 strikeouts in his career against the Orioles.

The Orioles are 14-40 in their last 54 during game 2 of a series, 1-4 in their last 5 Friday games and 5-2 in Bundys last 7 Friday starts. The Twins are 2-5 in their last 7 Friday games, 0-4 in their last 4 during game 2 of a series and 1-4 in Lynns last 5 starts. The Orioles are 3-8 in the last 11 meetings, the under is 4-1 in the last 5 meetings and the over is 6-2-1 in the last 9 meetings in Minnesota.

I'm not trying to back either of thse teams or either of these pitchers. This is just a blah series that can go either way, as it will come down to with side will het shelled less. But in terms of making a pick, I'll side with the Minnesota Twins, as I'm not touching the Baltimore Orioles at all. The team is awful and gets rocked night in and night out. For a cheap price to fade the O's, I'll take it.

Minnesota Twins -120
