MLB | Chicago White Sox (63-75) at Minnesota Twins (60-78)

The Minnesota Twins and the Chicago White Sox face off on Wednesday at Target Field for game two fo their series.

The Minnesota Twins jumped out to an early lead on Tuesday but they were unable to hold on as they took the loss on Tuesday. Kenny Vargas hit a home run, Jordan Schafer had three hits, and Daniel Santana had two hits as the Twins scored three runs on nine hits. Starting pitcher Tommy Milone allowed five hits and three earned runs while striking out three lasting just 3.2 innings to not factor in the decision as Lester Olivares took the loss. For Wednesday’s game the Twins start Trevor May who is still looking for his first Major League win. For the season May has allowed 30 hits and 22 earned runs while striking out 15 over 19 innings for an 0-4 record and a 10.42 ERA.

The Chicago White Sox still have plenty of work to do on their roster to be consistently competitive but hey got the win on Tuesday in Minnesota. Dayan Viciedo and Tyler Flowers each hit home runs and Paul Konerko had a hit as the White Sox scored six runs on 10 hits. Starting pitcher Hector Noesi allowed nine hits and three runs while striking out five over 7.0 innings to not get a decision as Daniel Webb got the win and Jacob Petricka earned the save. For Wednesday’s game the White Sox start John Danks who has lost his last three decisions. For the season Danks has allowed 178 hits and 89 earned runs while striking out 109 over 164 innings for a 9-9 record and a 4.88 ERA.

Minnesota is 9-20 in their last 29 home games, 2-8 in their last 10 games, and 0-4 in Mays’ last four starts. Chicago is 4-10 in their last 14 games, 1-4 in their last five road games, and 0-5 in Danks’ last five starts. Chicago is 3-14 in Danks’ last 17 starts in Minnesota.

We should see plenty of scoring here and I love the over for a free pick.
