Tops in hitting for the Angels this year is Andrelton Simmons, with 71 hits, 32 runs and 34 RBI entering the weekend. On Saturday, Mike Trout went 1-for-3.
Over on the Twins’ side, they’re going with Fernando Romero on Sunday. Over 36.1 innings and a 2-2 mark this year, Romero has a 3.96 ERA with 34 Ks and 14 BBs.

The Angels are 4-1 in their last five Sunday games and 4-1 in Tropeano’s last five starts versus the AL Central. LA is also 5-2 in Tropeano’s last seven starts versus a team with a losing record and 1-4 in his last five starts in game three of a series.
Meanwhile, the Twins are 1-4 in their last five in game three of a series and 1-4 in Romero’s last five starts. Minnesota is also 1-4 in Romero’s last five starts on grass and the under is 6-1 in the Twins’ last seven in game three of a series.
After giving up three earned across two starts in 12.2 innings, Tropeno surrendered five earned in 4.2 innings his last time up. As for Romero, he gave up eight earned in KC but came back with two earned in 6.0 innings against the White Sox his last time out. This might not be a bad spot to grab the Twins as a value pick if you can get the right number.
