The White Sox are 16-37 in the last 53 meetings in New York and 8-20 in the last 28 meetings.
I'm not backing a pitcher in Shields, who gets rocked far too often, but I'm not betting against the White Sox and this out of nowhere hot streak, and I'm certainly not laying insane juice with a subpar pitcher such as Lynn on the mound. Instead, I'm siding with the over. Both offenses have been red hot in the month of August and both of these pitchers can make it look like batting practice at times. We should see some fireworks in this contest.
