The Atlanta Braves and San Francisco Giants meet Wednesday in MLB action at AT&T Park.

The Atlanta Braves look for another victory after winning five of their last six games. The Braves have scored 17 runs in their last three games and four or more runs in six of their last seven games. The Atlanta Braves have won five straight games when scoring more than three runs. Nick Markakis leads the Braves with 174 hits and 88 RBI while Freddie Freeman and Ozzie Albies have combined for 329 hits and 152 RBI. Anibal Sanchez gets the ball, and he is 6-5 with a 3.09 ERA and 114 strikeouts this season. Sanchez is 4-1 with a 2.13 ERA and 39 strikeouts in his career against the Giants.

The San Francisco Giants could use a win here in order to snap a 10-game losing streak. The Giants have scored five runs in their last three games and three or more runs in 13 of their last 15 games. The San Francisco Giants have lost 10 straight games when scoring three or less runs. Brandon Crawford leads the Giants with 125 hits and 51 RBI while Buster Posey and Evan Longoria have combined for 216 hits and 90 RBI. Derek Holland gets the ball, and he is 7-8 with a 3.54 ERA and 152 strikeouts this season. This will be Holland’s second career game against the Braves.

The Braves are 5-1 in their last 6 road games, 25-12 in their last 37 during game 3 of a series and 5-2 in Sanchezs last 7 road starts. The Giants are 3-14 in their last 17 during game 3 of a series, 0-5 in their last 5 Wednesday games and 5-2 in Hollands last 7 home starts. The under is 4-1 in Hollands last 5 home starts and the over is 5-1 in Braves last 6 overall.

We're really getting plus money to fade the San Francisco Giants, a team that can't score and has yet to win a game in the month of September? The Giants have been the same team in the second half of the season as they were last year, a club that can't put runs on the board and piles up the losses. There's no point in even looking the Giants direction the next couple of weeks. Give me the Braves at whatever price.
