The Cleveland Indians and the Texas Rangers will match up on the MLB diamond to finish their series on Thursday.

The two teams split the first pair of games in this set, then on Wednesday Cleveland banged out a 10-4 win.

For the Thursday finale, the Indians will send out Shane Bieber in the start. Over his 85.0 innings and 6-2 mark this year, Bieber has a 3.92 ERA with 108 Ks and 21 BBs.

In the Wednesday win, Cleveland put up 12 hits on the night. The Indians’ big hitter was Jason Kipnis, with two homers and four RBI.

Over on the Rangers’ side, they’re going with Mike Minor in the start Thursday. Across 95.2 innings and a 6-4 mark so far, Minor has a 2.63 ERA with 99 Ks and 32 BBs.

Texas logged 10 hits in the loss Wednesday but couldn’t get it translated to the scoreboard. Asdrubal Cabrera finished with a solo homer, two runs and two RBi.

The Indians are 51-23 in their last 74 Thursday games and 10-2 in Bieber’s last 12 road starts. Cleveland is 5-1 in Bieber’s last six starts and 10-4 in his last 14 with four days’ rest.

Meanwhile, the Rangers are 6-20 in their last 26 in game four of a series and 5-2 in Minor’s last seven starts. Texas is 0-4 in Minor’s last four Thursday starts and 5-2 in his last seven on grass.

Bieber had some trouble against the Yankees with five earned on five hits in 1.2 innings, but bounced back with a quality start in Detroit his last time up, posting 7.2 innings and two earned.

As for Minor, he’s allowed five earned in 14.1 innings on eight hits in his consecutive quality starts. I like Minor to keep chugging along here so I think the Rangers have a decent shot.
