The Miami Marlins and the Washington Nationals will be finishing up their weekend MLB series on Sunday from Nationals Park.

In the first pair of games in this set, the Nationals won 14-12 and 3-2. On Saturday, Washington had another great offensive night with a 18-4 victory.

For the Sunday game, the Marlins will be bringing out RHP Trevor Richards. In his 53.0 innings and 2-5 record this year, Richards has a 5.26 ERA with 48 Ks and 22 BBs.

Tops in hitting for the Marlins this season is Starlin Castro, with 104 hits, 54 runs and 32 RBI heading into game three. On Saturday, Castro put up a solo homer.

As for the Nationals, they’re sending out Tanner Roark for Sunday. 105.2 innings and 3-10 mark this season, Roark has a 4.60 ERA with 88 Ks and 38 BBs.

Leading the way in hitting for the Nationals this year is Trea Turner, who came into the weekend with 99 hits, 51 runs, 11 homers and 37 RBI. On Saturday, Turner had one hit and three runs.

The Marlins are 1-7 in their last eight Sunday games and 3-14 in their last 17 during game four of a series. Miami is also 20-42 in their last 62 road games and 2-7 in their last nine versus the NL East.

Meanwhile, the Nationals are 1-4 in their last five Sunday games and 4-1 in Roark’s last five in game four of a series. Washington is also 1-4 in Roark’s last five home starts and 0-5 in his last five starts.

Richards has been kind of hit-and-miss over his last few starts, and he’s allowed 14 earned in his last four outings. As for Roark, he hasn’t been great, with 20 earned over his last four starts. This might be a spot to value-pick the Marlins, and the over sounds pretty good too.
