The Boston Celtics could use a win after losing four of their last five games. Kyrie Irving is averaging 23.9 points and seven assists while Jayson Tatum is averaging 16 points and 6.2 rebounds. The Spurs are 3-1-1 ATS in their last 5 games playing on 1 days rest, 3-7-1 ATS in their last 11 road games and 6-1-1 ATS in their last 8 games overall. The Celtics are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 home games, 3-7-1 ATS in their last 11 games playing on 0 days rest and 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games overall. The Spurs are 12-3-1 ATS in the last 16 meetings in Boston and 8-2 ATS in the last 10 meetings. The over is 5-1 in Celtics last 6 overall. The under is 10-2 in Spurs last 12 overall.
I really considered fading the Boston Celtics given how they crapped the bed last night against the Charlotte Hornets, allowing an insane run in the fourth quarter. The Celtics just can't put together consistent performances and it's getting quite annoying. However, the San Antonio Spurs just aren't good on the road, losing four of their last six tries and allowing 47.9 percent shooting while losing by an average of 4.6 points. Despite the lack of consistency overall, the Celtics still win at home by an average of 8.1 points and are probably still the better team overall. I'm iffy on it, but I'll lay the bucket with the Celtics at home.
