The San Antonio Spurs and Boston Celtics meet Sunday in NBA action at the TD Garden.

The San Antonio Spurs look for another win after winning 10 of their last 15 games. The San Antonio Spurs are averaging 111.7 points on 47.8 percent shooting and allowing 110.3 points on 46.4 percent shooting. DeMar DeRozan is averaging 21.5 points and 6.1 assists while LaMarcus Aldridge is averaging 21 points and 8.9 rebounds. Rudy Gay is the third double-digit scorer and Bryn Forbes is dishing 2.1 assists. The San Antonio Spurs are shooting 39.7 percent from beyond the arc and 82.3 percent from the free throw line. The San Antonio Spurs are allowing 36.4 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 44.6 rebounds per game. The San Antonio Spurs have lost four of their last six road games.

The Boston Celtics could use a win after losing four of their last five games. The Boston Celtics are averaging 112.7 points on 46.5 percent shooting and allowing 107.7 points on 44.8 percent shooting. Kyrie Irving is averaging 23.9 points and seven assists while Jayson Tatum is averaging 16 points and 6.2 rebounds. Marcus Morris is the third double-digit scorer and Al Horford is grabbing 6.7 rebounds. The Boston Celtics are shooting 36.4 percent from beyond the arc and 80.6 percent from the free throw line. The Boston Celtics are allowing 34.1 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 44.6 rebounds per game. The Boston Celtics have split their last six home games.

The Spurs are 3-1-1 ATS in their last 5 games playing on 1 days rest, 3-7-1 ATS in their last 11 road games and 6-1-1 ATS in their last 8 games overall. The Celtics are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 home games, 3-7-1 ATS in their last 11 games playing on 0 days rest and 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games overall. The Spurs are 12-3-1 ATS in the last 16 meetings in Boston and 8-2 ATS in the last 10 meetings. The over is 5-1 in Celtics last 6 overall. The under is 10-2 in Spurs last 12 overall.

I really considered fading the Boston Celtics given how they crapped the bed last night against the Charlotte Hornets, allowing an insane run in the fourth quarter. The Celtics just can't put together consistent performances and it's getting quite annoying. However, the San Antonio Spurs just aren't good on the road, losing four of their last six tries and allowing 47.9 percent shooting while losing by an average of 4.6 points. Despite the lack of consistency overall, the Celtics still win at home by an average of 8.1 points and are probably still the better team overall. I'm iffy on it, but I'll lay the bucket with the Celtics at home.

Pick:
Boston Celtics -2
