The Memphis Grizzlies and Chicago Bulls meet Wednesday in NBA action at the United Center.

The Memphis Grizzlies could use a win here after losing eight of their last 12 games. The Memphis Grizzlies are averaging 100.3 points on 44.9 percent shooting and allowing 103.4 points on 44.8 percent shooting. Mike Conley is averaging 20.1 points and 6.4 assists while Jaren Jackson Jr. is averaging 13.9 points and 4.7 rebounds. CJ Miles is the third double-digit scorer and Justin Holiday is grabbing 4.2 rebounds. The Memphis Grizzlies are shooting 33.8 percent from beyond the arc and 75.9 percent from the free throw line. The Memphis Grizzlies are allowing 35.9 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 40.5 rebounds per game. The Memphis Grizzlies have lost five of their last six road games.

The Chicago Bulls could use a win after losing eight of their last 10 games. The Chicago Bulls are averaging 102.8 points on 44.9 percent shooting and allowing 111.6 points on 46.6 percent shooting. Zach LaVine is averaging 23.1 points and 4.3 assists while Lauri Markkanen is averaging 18.4 points and 8.7 rebounds. Otto Porter Jr. is the third double-digit scorer and Kris Dunn is dishing 6.5 assists. The Chicago Bulls are shooting 35.3 percent from beyond the arc and 78.8 percent from the free throw line. The Chicago Bulls are allowing 35.7 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 42.1 rebounds per game. The Chicago Bulls haven’t won a home game since December 21.

The Grizzlies are 2-10 ATS in their last 12 games playing on 0 days rest, 4-12 ATS in their last 16 road games and 6-2 ATS in their last 8 games overall. The Bulls are 0-3-1 ATS in their last 4 vs. Western Conference, 5-17 ATS in their last 22 home games and 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games overall. The road team is 8-3 ATS in the last 11 meetings and the over is 3-1-1 in the last 5 meetings. The over is 4-1 in Bulls last 5 overall. The under is 20-8 in Grizzlies last 28 overall.

I get that the Memphis Grizzlies aren't a great basketball team and are on the end of a back-to-back after a last second loss to the San Antonio Spurs, but there's no case to be made for the Chicago Bulls to be favorites against any team in this league. The Bulls are allowing an average of 120.4 points in their last five games and are losing by an average of 10.2 points at home this season. The Bulls haven't won a home game since December 21. Maybe the streak comes to an end here, and you have to like the rest advantage the Bulls have. I'm just not laying any sort of chalk with the Bulls because it makes no sense. It's Grizzlies or pass for me.
